Pelosi accused Trump of Being Blackmailed by Putin

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) issued a statement Friday night accusing President Donald Trump of being blackmailed by Russian President Vladimir Putin into undermining NATO.

“What does Putin have on @realDonaldTrump, politically, personally or financially?”

“Why has the Trump Administration continued to discuss pulling the U.S. out of NATO, which would be a massive victory for Putin?” Trump Tweets: I wish people would read or listen to my words on the Border Wall. This was in no way a concession. It was taking care of millions of people who were getting badly hurt by the Shutdown with the understanding that in 21 days, if no deal is done, it’s off to the races! We have turned away, at great expense, two major Caravans, but a big one has now formed and is coming. At least 8000 people! If we had a powerful Wall, they wouldn’t even try to make the long and dangerous journey. Build the Wall and Crime will Fall! Thank you to the Republican National Committee, (the RNC), who voted UNANIMOUSLY yesterday to support me in the upcoming 2020 Election. Considering that we have done more than any Administration in the first two years, this should be easy. More great things now in the works! “We absolutely need a physical barrier or Wall, whatever you want to call it. The President yesterday laid all that out. We need to do it all, including the Wall. I provided the same information to the previous administration, & it was ignored.” Mark Morgan, Border Chief for “O”! 21 days goes very quickly. Negotiations with Democrats will start immediately. Will not be easy to make a deal, both parties very dug in. The case for National Security has been greatly enhanced by what has been happening at the Border & through dialogue. We will build the Wall!

Trump Tweet: If Roger Stone was indicted for lying to Congress, what about the lying done by Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Lisa Page & lover, Baker and soooo many others? What about Hillary to FBI and her 33,000 deleted Emails? What about Lisa & Peter’s deleted texts & Wiener’s laptop? Much more!

Trumped up charges against Stone:

The next time a liberal or skeptic claims Roger Stone had covert insider info from Julian Assange (re: Hillary/Podesta emails), send them this video. We ALL Knew About IT. That's because Assange Announced it on Live TV in June 2016:

Selective enforcement exposed:

Sarah Sanders Roger Stone Arrest President, Jan 25 2019 | Video |

Video 4 min long Listen: 1:50 mark

SARAH SANDERS on the Roger Stone indictment: "A bigger question is if this is the standard, will the same standard apply to people like Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Clapper? Will we see the same people we know also made false statements, will that same standard apply? Mueller Pro-Pedophile double standard: David Asimov, son of celebrity science fiction author Isaac Asimov, amassed one of the most gigantic child porn libraries in American history, and the largest ever found in California. But Robert Mueller, as the U.S. Attorney responsible for prosecuting the case, let Asimov walk free. Santa Rosa police arrested the younger Asimov in 1998 after discovering the gigantic collection of child pornography.  Gary Medvigy described the haul to journalists at the time as, “A huge quantity. Believe me, there aren’t enough people or enough man-hours to look at it all. The whole house was full of VCRs, commercial tapes, homemade tapes and sophisticated equipment for taping and duplicating.” Voter Fraud exposed in Texas

The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified 58,000 non-U.S. citizens who voted in one or more Texas elections, dating to 1996, according to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's office.

Further, the DPS said there were about 95,000 non-citizens they identified as having a voter registration record in the state.

"Texas law allows lawfully present noncitizens to obtain driver’s licenses by showing proof of lawful presence to DPS," Paxton's office said in a statement. "However, only citizens are eligible to vote. And Texas law currently does not require verification of a voter’s statement that they are a citizen."

It's not clear if the remaining 37,000 people attempted to vote in any election, be it local, state or federal, or if those who did vote in state elections also voted in federal elections.

The Texas Secretary of State this week provided the information to Paxton's office, which can prosecute election crimes.

“Every single instance of illegal voting threatens democracy in our state and deprives individual Texans of their voice," Paxton said in a statement. "My Election Fraud Unit stands ready to investigate and prosecute crimes against the democratic process when needed."

Republican Gov. Greg Abbott praised the findings, which officials said were the result of voter rolls being checked against a state database of Texas residents who are not citizens but leally obtained driver's licenses. YouTube institutes policy against conspiracy videos

In a blog post published on Friday, YouTube said it would be making changes to its recommendations algorithm to explicitly deal with conspiracy theory videos. The company says the update will reduce the suggestion of “borderline content and content that could misinform users in harmful ways.”

YouTube clarified what kind of videos fit that description by providing three examples: “videos promoting a phony miracle cure for a serious illness, claiming the earth is flat, or making blatantly false claims about historic events like 9/11.”

The company clarified that this content doesn’t necessarily violate its community guidelines. This means that while the content may still exist on YouTube, the site’s algorithm will omit these videos from being recommended to its users.

In order to deal with this sort of problematic content, YouTube says it relies on “a combination of machine learning and real people.” Human evaluators and experts will train the recommendation system to evaluate these videos. At first, the changes will only be visible on a small number of videos in the U.S.

YouTube says that overall less than 1 percent of videos will be affected by this change. But, with the platform’s massive video archive and hundreds of hours of new content being uploaded per minute, that still amounts to a lot of videos. Ted cruz statement on shutdown Facebook ted cruz ^ | Jan 25 2019 | Ted Cruz

I am glad the Schumer shutdown is over. I am glad federal workers will finally be paid. For weeks, Democrats held their paychecks hostage. Yesterday, I fought hard to immediately pay every single essential federal employee – every essential employee at the Coast Guard, the TSA, air traffic controllers, Border Patrol agents, ICE agents, FBI agents, and those throughout law enforcement. Chuck Schumer and the Democrats cynically objected to that legislation and killed it on the Senate floor.

The Democrats have claimed that, once the shutdown ends, they are willing to negotiate in good faith to secure the border. Given their behavior, there is considerable reason to be skeptical of their claim. But, now, we will see if they actually meant what they said.

The media will obsess over the short-term political fight. But what matters is enacting real solutions to the real problems of this country. We have a crisis at our border, one that Texas experiences first-hand. We need real border security, including physical barriers to stop drug traffickers and human traffickers. I will continue to lead the fight to secure the border and get the job done. We must keep our word to the American people.

Perhaps the Democrats will end their partisan obstruction, set aside their hatred of the president, and agree to a reasonable compromise to actually secure the border. I hope so.

If not – if Democrats continue to embrace open borders at the expense of the American people – then today’s actions have made it all but inevitable that the president will declare a national emergency and deploy the funds and manpower necessary to build a steel barrier at high-traffic locations on the border.

Kremlin-linked contractors help guard Venezuela's Maduro Reuters ^ | JANUARY 25, 2019 / 9:03 AM | Maria Tsvetkova, Anton Zverev

Private military contractors who do secret missions for Russia flew into Venezuela in the past few days to beef up security for President Nicolas Maduro.

Russia, which has backed Maduro’s socialist government to the tune of billions of dollars, this week promised to stand by him after opposition leader Juan Guaido declared himself president with Washington’s endorsement.

Yevgeny Shabayev, leader of a local chapter of a paramilitary group of Cossacks with ties to Russian military contractors, said he had heard the number of Russian contractors in Venezuela may be about 400.

Shabayev said the contingent flew to Venezuela at the start of this week, a day or two before opposition protests started.

The contractors’ task in Venezuela was to protect Maduro from any attempt by opposition sympathizers in his own security forces to detain him, Shabayev said.

“Our people are there directly for his protection,” he said.

One of the two anonymous Russian sources, who is close to the Wagner group and fought in foreign conflicts where it was active, said the contractors first arrived in advance of the May 2018 presidential election, but another group arrived “recently.”

It’s no accident this was released at Sundance now:

Leaving Neverland had its world premiere on Friday at the Sundance Film Festival, and critics were quick to comment on the four-hour documentary that details allegations of sexual abuse against Michael Jackson. The film focuses on the accounts of Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who have long claimed that they were raped and molested by the singer at his Neverland Ranch.  Jackson denied all allegations that he abused underage boys during his lifetime, and his estate has done the same in the decade since his death.  'Leaving Neverland is a horror film - an intimate, obviously believable, sometimes sexually explicit story of two boys who became Michael Jackson’s special "friends" - i.e., lovers - while their oblivious parents went along. Jackson was a fiend - a smooth predator, a monster,' said Jeff Wells of Hollywood Elsewhere. 'Feel sick to my stomach after watching Part 1 of #LeavingNeverland doc. Michael Jackson witnesses/sex abuse victims coming off very credible. It’s so sexually explicit that counselors are in the lobby,' wrote Mara Reinstein of US Weekly.  'Shaking. Wow. We were all wrong when we cheered for Michael Jackson. He was a pedophile.'  Robson and Safechuck both received a standing ovation from the audience after the film before tearfully answering questions about the documentary. Both men go into graphic and specific detail about what allegedly happened in Jackson's bedroom when they were just children, with both men claiming they were abused from approximately the age of 7 until they were 14.

Getting people on record condemning it is important so later when highly placed politicians are exposed it will be harder to treat it like a mere lifestyle choice.

Meteorite hits the Moon (video):Astronomers managed to capture the moment of an impact during this week’s eclipsed moon.Spanish astrophysicist Jose Maria Madiedo of the University of Huelva said Wednesday it appears a rock from a comet slammed into the moon during the total lunar eclipse late Sunday and early Monday. The strike was seen by telescopes in Spain and elsewhere as a bright flash.Madiedo said it’s the first impact flash ever seen during a lunar eclipse, although such crater-forming impacts are common. The object hit at an estimated 10 miles (17 kilometers) per second, and was 22 pounds (10 kilograms) and 12 inches (30 centimeters) across, according to Madiedo.Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles also recorded the impact during its livestream of the eclipse. A second flash was seen a minute after the first by some observers, said Anthony Cook, an astronomical observer at Griffith.
