What Really Happened When Israel Attacked Iran

(From a historically reliable source Pepe Escobar):

"EXCLUSIVE

THE REAL STORY OF THE ISRAELI COUNTER RESPONSE

From a very high level intel source.

In Asia.

NOT Russia-China.

Although the strategic partnership, of course, exchanges at the highest level 24-7.

Confirmed and re-confirmed.

It will be great to know what Sy Hersh hears from his Beltway sources.

Here we go.

Israel initially chose to respond with extreme force.

An F-35 loaded with a nuclear bomb was sent east over Jordan.

The mission: cause a high-altitude detonation over Iran that would provoke a surge in the high-capacity power lines, crippling Iran's electric grid, as well as disabling all electronic devices.

An EMP attack.

However...

... As the Israeli F-35 was leaving Jordanian airspace it was shot down by the Russian Air Force.

Hence the publicized version of the Israeli counter response was such a travesty."

This sounds pretty wild, but if you look into the details it ends up (except for the nuke part) being the only reasonable explanation of what actually happened during the Israeli attack on Iran, and furthermore it explains major strange military and political events that have happened since then.

Let's go through this piece by piece in order:

Netanyahu calls for an EMP attack on Iran:

On April 1st the Israelis attacked a consulate in Syria killing upper level Iranian military officers and others. Two weeks later the Iranians attacked Israel on 14 April.

The next day, April 15th, "Netanyahu instructed the army to propose targets in Iran, attacks on which would “send a signal”, but without casualties"

How do you cause damage but not have casualties? There is only one clear way:

An EMP missile also known as an electromagnetic pulse weapon.

In fact the US has such weapons as publicly described on 19 April:

"The US Air Force has quietly deployed missiles that could destroy the electronics of Iran's nuclear facilities with high-power microwaves, rendering them useless, without causing any fatalities, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively.

Known as the Counter-Electronics High Power Microwave Advanced Missile Project (CHAMP), the missiles were built by Boeing's Phantom Works for the US Air Force Research Laboratory and first tested successfully in 2012. They were deployed—meaning installed in various locations around the globe—and became operational in 2019."

What was launched and from Where?

"Two Western officials told The New York Times on April 20 the missiles used in the recent Israeli attack on Iran had technology that enabled the weapon to evade detection by Iranian radar systems.

Two Iranian officials also told the newspaper that Iran did not detect intrusions into its airspace during the attack on April 19, including drones or missiles.

The New York Times said that the warplane from which the missile was launched was “far from Israeli or Iranian airspace” and neither the jet nor the missile entered Jordanian airspace. Israel opted for this to to keep Amman out of any potential ramifications for the reprisal strike after it helped shoot down drones and missiles fired by Iran at Israel on April 13-14.

It’s worth noting that Israel struck several air defense sites in southern Syria during the attack, leading to speculation that Israeli warplanes launched their missiles from some area along the country’s border with Jordan or Iraq.

A basic analysis by SouthFront indicates that the weapon is an air-launched ballistic missile with two stages, most likely divertive from the Israeli Sparrow family of missile targets, more specifically from the mid-ranged Blue Sparrow version.

While air-launched ballistic missiles are extremely hard to track and intercept, they can be detected like any other type of aerial targets. The New York Times and its sources were likely exaggerating when claiming that the missiles could evade detection by Iranian radar systems.

According to recent reports in American media, one of three missiles launched by Israeli warplanes during the attack hit an air defense site near Isfahan that was part of an array defending the nearby top-secret Natanz nuclear site."

The Israeli attack was humiliatingly trivial in effect:

It was claimed by the New-York Times: "Israel abandoned a larger strike on Iranian military targets under pressure from the United States and other allies". This was obviously CYA for a terribly failed operation.

Note that a target was apparently the air defense system protecting the Natanz nuclear site. This is the most important nuclear weapons development site in Iran. It appears that Israel took this opportunity/excuse to zap it with EMP that would cause what Netanyahu specifically asked for "attacks on which would “send a signal”, but without casualties". No doubt this had been an attractive target for some time, but the Israelis had insufficient justification to bomb Iran with an EMP. Now they had their sufficient justification.

Note: In modern warfare as demonstrated in Ukraine drones and lesser missiles are first sent in to use up the air defense missiles and overwhelm the air defense system. Then the more serious missiles are sent in for the actual target. In this case the initial target was accordingly the air defense system for the actual target.

" 🇮🇷 Iran's S-300 radar in Isfahan was not damaged, despite claims. See image below:

There are no signs of any explosion in the released satellite imagery, but the following can be observed:

- Green: Big Bird 64N6E2 Radar (for the S-300 Air Defense System)

- Yellow: Shadow of the radar system if closed

- Blue: Shadow of the radar system if opened & operational, or possibly something on top of the strategic camouflage net

- Red: Camouflage net covering the radar's aerial & infrared / radar signature"

In any case the result of the Israeli attack was pathetic as compared to the previous Iranian attack. Given that Netanyahu called for what was essentially an EMP attack, and the target was clearly Natanz, the only reasonable conclusion was that something went wrong and the EMP weapon failed to hit its target.

What Interfered?

Was the F-35 likely used to launch the missile? Was it interfered with and by who?

About the F-35:

The F-35 first flew in 2006 and entered service with the U.S. Marine Corps F-35B in July 2015, followed by the U.S. Air Force F-35A in August 2016 and the U.S. Navy F-35C in February 2019.[1][2][3] The aircraft was first used in combat in 2018 by the Israeli Air Force.[12] The U.S. plans to buy 2,456 F-35s through 2044, which will represent the bulk of the crewed tactical aviation of the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps for several decades; the aircraft is planned to be a cornerstone of NATO and U.S.-allied air power and to operate until 2070.[13][14]. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_Martin_F-35_Lightning_II

This is the most advanced aircraft in the Israeli arsenal. It was first used in combat by Israel in 2018. Since it is their most advanced it is likely it was used to launch missiles in their 18th of April Iranian attack on Natanz.

The F-35 is a highly advanced aircraft that is fly-by-wire and highly dependent on its computer system to function.

Rumors (unconfirmed) state that the F-35 has no single point grounding which leads to the creation of induction loops in its systems. As a result it is highly vulnerable to any source of microwaves from electronic weapons. Rumor also has it that it cannot fly anywhere near lightning which emits in the same electromagnetic range as microwaves. This is especially ironic since the Marine Corps flies a "F-35B Lightning".

There is also the apparent case of a Marine Corps F-35B Lightning spontaneously ejecting its pilot over South Carolina.

The call came into 911: “I guess we’ve got a pilot in our house, and he says he got ejected.”

That was the 911 call received in Charleston County, South Carolina, after an F-35B Lightning II fighter jet's pilot ejected Sunday, parachuting into a home's backyard, according to audio released by the county government.

The debris from the jet's crash was found a few days thereafter since it flew on zombie-like to an unknown and far away crash location.

Pilots don't just eject for no reason. They stay with the plane to make sure it doesn't crash in a populated location. Furthermore, the pilot didn't say "I ejected." He was quoted as saying "I was ejected." Apparently the computer malfunctioned and ejected him.

In circles not beholden to the US military or military industry the F-35 is the subject of severe criticism. Andrei Martyanov, an American citizen and expert in the Russian military has said on multiple times that the plane is a joke, that the only reason it is being sold is because of political deals being made, and that the Russians would never put up with that awful engineering. He also points our that the US pilots have no actual combat experience with it in an electronic warfare environment.

Andrei Martyanov: "Russia is known to be very strong in electronic warfare that may interfere with F-35. And with these R-37, this long-range standoff capability air to air, it brings into question whether the U.S. can establish air dominance over any theater of war in which Russia is operating,"

Of course it is anathema to say this in our military circles. The narrative of US air superiority technology and the PR surrounding it prevent objective analysis. Thus policy makers would be shocked, horrified and alarmed if our most advanced aircraft was easily disabled by Russian electronic warfare. Those believing the narrative would be caught by surprise. Yet that is what would likely result from an F-35 encounter with the Russians.

The F-35 is most likely what the Israelis used since it is their most advanced aircraft. If it was used in the attack on Natanz to launch missiles then it was used close to Syria which is protected by Russian fighter aircraft.

What Happened to the Speaker of the House?

"It may seem hard to square the congressman who, only in September, opposed $300 million in Ukraine aid with the one who put his career on the line to deliver $61 billion to the battered country."

What would cause Speaker Johnson to defy his supporters, destroy his reputation, and risk losing the Speakership in disgrace?

Consider that the F-35 was entirely relied upon by not just the United States but also by NATO:

"The U.S. plans to buy 2,456 F-35s through 2044, which will represent the bulk of the crewed tactical aviation of the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps for several decades; the aircraft is planned to be a cornerstone of NATO and U.S.-allied air power..."

The belief in the prowess of the F-35 was the only narrative in Congress and around the Western world. When Israel likely used it and it was incapacitated by most likely Russia, that crashed the narrative. Confidence in NATO turned to terror, because also a part of the narrative is that Russia is planning on taking over Europe. The story line was that the evil Russia was going to take over the West and the super technology of the super superior West would stop the Russians.

Not only are the Russians not being stopped by NATO in Ukraine, but now their ace in the hole wunderwaffe F-35 has failed.

"Representative Massie told podcast host Charlie Kirk that Johnson had orchestrated a "brainwashing session" in the form of a classified briefing to push through the reauthorization of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

"It was like a brainwashing session," Massie said.

"And here's the thing, Charlie, when you go into a [sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF)], remember most congressmen are used to having two things with them that allow them to verify something if they're being told a lie."

"Number one, they usually have their smartphone with them. And their staff," he continued. "Those two things you are deprived of.

"So if you are deprived of those two things and any connection to anybody for three or four hours, you kind of start believing what they're saying, and you think, well, maybe they'll let me out of this SCIF if I just nod my head and succumb to the pressure."

The persuasion/brainwashing sessions in the SCIF and the failures in Ukraine had already alarmed Speaker Johnson enough to defy his base and push for FISA reauthorization. Calling for a vote on the funding for Ukraine and Israel without first requiring a vote on the domestic border funding was political suicide. He was that frightened by it.

That is in part why so many Republicans suddenly voted for funding Israel and Ukraine. Much of the money was also to replenish our own supplies. Lobbyists for Ukraine, the defense industry and Israel including AIPAC et al all were also whipping fear to a frenzy.

The United States/NATO intelligence agencies do not want this public because 1) It is a massive betrayal of the trust the American people to spend vast tax dollars on defense so foolishly, 2) The government failed to do their job to protect the American people, and 3) It upsets the perceived balance of power world wide with a cascade of geopolitical effects. It is no coincidence that in the last week there have been numerous sudden meeting with heads of state and highly placed individuals traveling to allied nations to talk in person. Iran, Russia, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, China all have been having meetings.

Russia would not want it made public because it is their standard operating procedure to not telegraph their capabilities. They appear to have read and apply Sun Tsu's Art of War. They seldom reveal their technical capabilities until it is too late for opponents to effectively respond.

This appears to be the truth about what happened when Israel retaliated against Iran.
