Trump Tweets:
I will be making a major announcement concerning the Humanitarian Crisis on our Southern Border, and the Shutdown, tomorrow afternoon at 3 P.M., live from the @WhiteHouse.
Never seen the Republican Party so unified. No “Cave” on the issue of Border and National Security. A beautiful thing to see, especially when you hear the new rhetoric spewing from the mouths of the Democrats who talk Open Border, High Taxes and Crime. Stop Criminals & Drugs now!

China Proposes Six-Year Buying Spree
Citing sources familiar with the matter, Bloomberg reported Friday that China has offered to significantly boost its purchase of U.S. goods over a six-year period in an effort to re-balance trade between the two superpowers. By increasing its annual imports from the United States, Beijing would reduce its trade surplus to zero by 2024. That would require a spending boost of more than $1 trillion.

Nancy Pelosi's Previous Taxpayer Funded Trips Were Pretty Fancy

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her fellow Democrats are pretty enraged President Trump cancelled their taxpayer funded trip overseas -- in the middle of a government shutdown -- at the last minute on Thursday. In fact, they were already sitting on the bus ready to go to the airport.

But it turns out these taxpayer funded Congressional Delegation [CODEL] trips lead by Pelosi have been pretty fancy in the past. She's also a habitual abuser of taxpayer funding and the military for personal use.
Back in 2008, Judicial Watch exposed the Speaker for lavish spending on booze and free trips for spouses on military planes.
DOD advised Pelosi military aircraft request could not be met and offered to help secure commercial travel. Pelosi staffer responds: “We appreciate the efforts to help the codel [sic] fly commercially but you know the problem that creates with spouses..." https://t.co/ukl1uo4jDc— Tom Fitton (@TomFitton) January 18, 2019
.@JudicialWatch exposed this all nine years ago....doing the work of media back then, too.— Tom Fitton (@TomFitton) January 18, 2019
Purchases for one Pelosi-led CODEL on May 15-20, 2008 included: Johnny Walker Red scotch, Grey Goose vodka, E&J brandy, Bailey’s Irish Crème, Maker’s Mark whiskey, Courvoisier cognac, Bacardi Light rum, Jim Beam whiskey, Beefeater gin, Dewar’s scotch, Bombay Sapphire gin...— Tom Fitton (@TomFitton) January 18, 2019
.@SpeakerPelosi used the Air Force aircraft for a total of 85 trips, covering 206,264 miles, from March 2, 2009 through June 7, 2010. Pelosi, her guests and Air Force personnel logged a total of 428.6 hours on these flights.— Tom Fitton (@TomFitton) January 18, 2019
Numerous trips were made by Speaker Pelosi between San Francisco and Andrews Air Force Base. Several of these trips included members of Speaker Pelosi’s family...https://t.co/7OagzzyNRU— Tom Fitton (@TomFitton) January 18, 2019
Not much has changed.
In the meantime, Pelosi apparently tried to leave the country for a second time after President Trump canceled military aircraft for her trip on Thursday. The White House repeatedly asked her to sit down and negotiate a deal to end the current shutdown.
Trump: All congressional delegation travel needs White House approval during shutdown

The White House on Friday banned the use of all government aircraft for congressional delegations without approval from the White House chief of staff during the partial government shutdown.
In a letter to the heads of all federal agencies and departments, acting Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought told officials that Trump asked him to explain these temporary policies regarding “legislative branch travel.”
“Under no circumstances during a government shutdown will any government owned, rented, leased or chartered aircraft support any congressional delegation, without the express written approval of the White House chief of staff,” Vought wrote. “Nor will any funds appropriated to the Executive Branch be used for any congressional delegation travel expenses, without his express written approval.

Trump vows to veto bills expanding abortion rights in video address to March for Life
Court affirms media was wrong: videos dealing in baby parts were NOT deceptively edited

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a ruling that allows Texas to strip Planned Parenthood of its Medicaid funding.... to have Planned Parenthood removed as a qualified Medicaid provider following the release of several damning undercover videos, should come as a major blow to not just the abortion provider, but also the press.
Four years later, we learn from the 5th Circuit that the videos were neither selectively edited, nor was it false to say that Planned Parenthood associates circumvented legal, medical, and ethical guidelines in pursuit of salvaging human remains.
The ruling shatters the claim that the tapes, which feature Planned Parenthood associates discussing the processes by which organs from the remains of aborted children can be harvested and donated (for a fee), were selectively edited. It also affirms that Planned Parenthood associates did indeed circumvent legal and ethical guidelines in pursuit of harvesting human organs, all of this in direct contradiction to what the so-called women’s health organization and its eager defenders in the press claimed after the tapes were released in 2015.
