Britain's Home Secretary has revealed he has signed a request for the extradition of WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange to the US, where he is accused of violating the Espionage Act.
Speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Today program, Sajid Javid said that he signed and certified the papers on Wednesday, with the order going before the UK courts on Friday.

Project Veritas has received and published documents from an insider at Pinterest. The documents, which include product code, Slack messages, and internal policies, reveal terms and websites that Pinterest apparently censors.
The latest update in the saga of Pinterest’s censorship of pro-life content may be the most disturbing.
A little background may be helpful.
An employee insider from Pinterest recently came forward and revealed how the social media company was actively banning pro-life site, LiveAction.org, by placing the site on porn block lists. This action made it so users could not create “pins” if the source link was on the LiveAction.org domain.
The insider spoke with James O’Keefe of Project Veritas in an expose video that revealed the techniques, documentation, conversations, block terms and technology behind Pinterest’s actions. I watched the video. It was compelling and thorough.
Pinterest responded by removing Live Action from the block list.
But then, Pinterest almost immediately reversed course and permanently suspended Live Action’s account.
Then a Pinterest spokesman responded with a statement that didn’t explain anything and wasn’t helpful in the least.
But the most recent chapter involves another player — one that is no stranger to bias.
YouTube, the Google-owned captain of censorship, sketchy demonetization and deplatforming, was apparently upset that it had gone four hours without taking action against a conservative cause or personality.
According to a report from Project Veritas, YouTube actually removed the investigative video. As in, YouTube eliminated it completely. Gone. Not just suppressed or demonetized, the smoking gun video has vanished.

More Than 2,300 Suspected Online Child Sex Offenders Arrested During Operation “Broken Heart”
The Department of Justice today announced the arrest of more than 2,300 suspected online child sex offenders during a three-month, nationwide, operation conducted by Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task forces. The task forces identified 195 offenders who either produced child pornography or committed child sexual abuse, and 383 children who suffered recent, ongoing, or historical sexual abuse or production of child pornography.
The 61 ICAC task forces, located in all 50 states and comprised of more than 4,500 federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies, led the coordinated operation known as “Broken Heart” during the months of March, April, and May 2018. During the course of the operation, the task forces investigated more than 25,200 complaints of technology-facilitated crimes against children and delivered more than 3,700 presentations on Internet safety to over 390,000 youth and adults.
"No child should ever have to endure sexual abuse," Attorney General Jeff Sessions said. "And yet, in recent years, certain forms of modern technology have facilitated the spread of child pornography and created greater incentives for its production. We at the Department of Justice are determined to strike back against these repugnant crimes. It is shocking and very sad that in this one operation, we have arrested more than 2,300 alleged child predators and investigated some 25,200 sexual abuse complaints. Any would-be criminal should be warned: this Department will remain relentless in hunting down those who victimize our children."
The operation targeted suspects who: (1) produce, distribute, receive and possess child pornography; (2) engage in online enticement of children for sexual purposes; (3) engage in the sex trafficking of children; and (4) travel across state lines or to foreign countries and sexually abuse children.

He went to jail for his sex crime, and won a special election in his blue district from behind bars. In addition to being a convicted sex offender, he's also a disbarred lawyer: "Morrissey is no stranger to controversy. His license was revoked in 2003 for failing to tell clients he had been suspended." Morrissey's license was reinstated for awhile, then was revoked again in 2018. Here's a federal court's ringing endorsement of this gem's ethics: "Frequent episodes of unethical, contumacious, or otherwise inappropriate conduct mar Joseph D. Morrissey's career as prosecutor and private defense attorney...Evidence…demonstrates Morrissey's 15-year history of contempt citations, reprimands, fines, suspensions, and even incarcerations arising from unprofessional conduct mostly involving an uncontrollable temper, inappropriate responses to stress and dishonesty."

In 2000, as the Clinton administration was coming to a close, Rodham successfully lobbied his brother-in-law, the president, to override the objections of the Justice Department and pardon a Tennessee couple convicted of bank fraud, according to The New York Times.
A congressional investigation later found that Edgar Allen Gregory, Jr. and his wife, Vonna Jo, who were in the carnival business, had paid him almost $250,000 as a "consultant" in their bid to get a pardon.
In 2010, former President Bill Clinton helped Rodham, then short of cash, get a job raising investments in GreenTech Automotive, an electric car company then owned by Terry McAuliffe, an old Clinton friend and later governor of Virginia, the Times reported in 2015.
“I was complaining to my brother-in-law I didn’t have any money. And he asked McAuliffe to give me a job,” Rodham said at a court proceedings involving unpaid legal bills to his lawyer in a child support case, the newspaper said.
He also drew scrutiny as co-chairman of Haiti's recovery commission, following the devastating 2010 earthquake, for allegedly seeking a multimillion dollar deal to rebuild homes in the ravaged country with funding from the Clinton Foundation.
In court proceedings in an unrelated lawsuit, Rodham explained how someone in Haiti had “donated” 10,000 acres of land to him. In court testimony, he said he had pressed Clinton for helping in breaking through red tape to get funding for the rebuilding project.
“I deal through the Clinton Foundation. That gets me in touch with the Haitian officials,” Rodham said, according to a transcript of his testimony, the Times reported. “I hound my brother-in-law, because it’s his fund that we’re going to get our money from. And he can’t do it until the Haitian government does it."

Not only has the North Pole or Arctic ice cap not melted, the figure below, from the National Snow and Ice Data Center, shows that the Arctic sea ice extent for May 2019 was a massive 4.70 million square miles (12.16 million sq. km.). The magenta line shows the 1981 to 2010 average sea ice extent for the month of May, which, as you can see for yourself, shows that Arctic sea ice has not diminished since 1981.
But that hasn’t stopped the Australian government from paying Al Gore $320,000 of Australian taxpayers’ money to “lead” the recently-concluded 41st Climate Reality Leadership Corps training in Brisbane, Australia, June 5-7, 2019.
