“I AM PLEASED TO REPORT THAT THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, AND THE COUNTRY OF IRAN, HAVE HAD, OVER THE LAST TWO DAYS, VERY GOOD AND PRODUCTIVE CONVERSATIONS REGARDING A COMPLETE AND TOTAL RESOLUTION OF OUR HOSTILITIES IN THE MIDDLE EAST.” Trump posted in an all-caps message on Truth Social.
“BASED ON THE TENOR AND TONE OF THESE IN DEPTH, DETAILED, AND CONSTRUCTIVE CONVERSATIONS, WHICH WILL CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE WEEK, I HAVE INSTRUCTED THE DEPARTMENT OF WAR TO POSTPONE ANY AND ALL MILITARY STRIKES AGAINST IRANIAN POWER PLANTS AND ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE FOR A FIVE DAY PERIOD.”
He also says if a deal is reached with Iran, the US will move to take Iran’s enriched uranium critical to its nuclear program.
Trump said the Strait of Hormuz could be “open very soon” and could be “jointly controlled.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in an interview released Monday that “We are working to bring Israel to places it has never been, and also Iran to places it has never been. They are down, we are up.”
Trump: “We’re doing a five day period, and we’ll see how that goes. If it goes well, we’re going to end up with settling this,” according to the BBC. “Otherwise, we’ll just keep bombing our little hearts out,” Trump said.
Iranian state media denied talks are under way, according to NBC News.
“There is been no negotiation and there is no negotiation, and with this kind of psychological warfare, neither the Strait of Hormuz will return to its pre-war conditions nor will there be peace in the energy markets,” state media reported a government official as saying.
Note: This sounds like the original deal that Israel scuttled.
This was in response to this:
🇮🇷Iran has published an exact list of targets they will strike if Trump bombs their energy network
🇸🇦 Ras Al-Khair desalination plant → THE LARGEST in the world → millions will be left without water
🇸🇦 Shuqaiq power station → Saudi Arabia's southern power grid
🇶🇦 Al Kharsaah power station → a strike on Qatar's power grid
🇶🇦 Ras Laffan C (electricity + water) → Qatar's LIFELINE

🇺🇸🔊🇮🇷 US-Iran back-channel via Ghalibaf? Tehran says no
👉 Axios reporter Barak Ravid, citing an Israeli official, says US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are negotiating with Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, with mediators pushing for a possible meeting in Islamabad later this week.
🤥 Trump earlier claimed “very positive and productive” talks and ordered a 5-day pause in strikes on Iran’s energy infrastructure.
❌ Iran's Tasnim news agency fiercely denies Ghalibaf’s involvement, calling it a “big lie” by an outlet it describes as the “media arm of Israeli Mossad.”

🚨 Iran to Trump: Hit our energy — the entire region will go dark
The Khatam al-Anbiya Central HQ spokesperson responded to Trump's threats against Iran's power plants:
"If Iran's fuel and energy infrastructure is attacked, we will target all energy infrastructure, information technology systems, and desalination facilities belonging to the US and Israel in the region."
Earlier, Trump said the US would start attacking Iranian energy infrastructure if Iran did not open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours.

🇺🇸🇮🇱🇮🇷There's a full-blown confrontation going on. Trump publicly criticized Israel for attacking Iran's oil and gas infrastructure.
At the same time, he noted that Israel is actually to blame for Iran's retaliatory strike against the world's largest gas condensate complex located in Qatar.
And the conclusion: he publicly promised that Israel will no longer attack Iran's oil and gas infrastructure without prior coordination.
Trump says Israel attacked Iran's South Pars Gas Field without US knowledge. Iran retaliated by hitting Qatar's LNG facility, not knowing Qatar wasn't involved.
Trump now threatens to "massively blow up the entirety of the South Pars Gas Field at an amount of strength and power that Iran has never seen or witnessed before."
But also says he doesn't want to "because of the long term implications that it will have on the future of Iran."
He's threatening to destroy one of the world's largest gas fields while blaming Iran for not knowing things they couldn't have known.
ℹ️Keep in mind that Axios reported that the Israeli strike on the gas field was coordinated with the Trump administration.

🇺🇸🇮🇱⚔️🇮🇷 WSJ: Trump opposes further strikes on Iranian energy sites after Israel hit the South Pars gas field, U.S. officials say. He backed the Israeli attack as a warning over Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz but sees no need for more attacks—though future action could change that stance.

🇺🇸🇮🇱🇮🇷Trump blames everything on Bibi:
Trump: I told Netanyahu not to strike Iran's oil and gas fields

🇮🇷🇶🇦The first satellite image shows an Iranian missile strike on the Ras Laffan oil refinery in Qatar - the world's largest gas condensate complex.
🇺🇸🇮🇷Trump stated that he is not interested in the Strait of Hormuz.
"We have already defeated Iran. As for the Strait of Hormuz - we don't need it, we don't use it," he said.
At the same time, he stated that he does not want a ceasefire.

🇮🇷Iran has started charging fees for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, organizing a "safe corridor" for approved carriers, according to Lloyd's List. According to the publication's sources, one operator paid about £2 million for the transit of his tanker.
A total of at least nine ships have already passed through the strait under this scheme. However, it is not known how many of them paid for the transit permit, because in some cases the parties limited themselves to diplomatic intervention. The mechanism of making payments given the current sanctions against Iran also remains unclear
In the absence of US capabilities to unblock the Strait of Hormuz, this is quite a viable scheme.

🇮🇷🇬🇷 First Ship Transits the Strait of Hormuz in Nearly Three Weeks
The Greek-owned bulk carrier Giacometti has become the first vessel to transit the Strait of Hormuz with its AIS transponder active since March 2, nearly three weeks into the closure.
The ship transited around Larak Island on March 20, according to Lloyd's List Intelligence and Seasearcher tracking data.
ℹ️ Note that Lloyd’s List has already reported multiple ships using the new route Iran set up, where they undergo Iranian inspection and are then allowed to continue. The Greek vessel appears to be the first to make the transit with its transponder turned on.
🚫 🇮🇷 Iran grants limited access to Strait of Hormuz
At least eight vessels — including oil tankers and bulk carriers from India, Pakistan, and Greece — used Iranian waters to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, the FT reports.
⛴ All the ships reportedly used an unusual route around Larak Island, off the coast of Iran, to navigate the strait.
Iran shut down the Strait of Hormuz, a vital maritime route, shortly after the start of US–Israeli strikes on the Islamic Republic in late February.

– Iraqi Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani announced that the country has reached an agreement with Iran regarding the passage of Iraqi oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz – Al Jazeera

🇮🇷 Iran has established a safe transit corridor through the Strait of Hormuz.
At least nine vessels have already passed, routed near Larak Island for visual inspection by IRGC naval forces and port authorities, according to Lloyd’s List, a maritime intelligence outlet.
This aligns with broader reports that Tehran is selectively allowing ships through while maintaining effective control over the strait and restricting wider traffic.

🇾🇪 🇮🇷 The Houthis officially declared that they had entered the war on Iran's side.
"We will strike American ships in the Red Sea. This war is a war for the entire ummah,"
the statement read.
The Houthis also stated that, by the grace of Allah, they possess Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missiles, with a range of up to 2,150 km and a speed of up to Mach 16.

Yemen pulls the plug on Red Sea route — US and Israel about to feel the pinch
Yemen’s Ansar Allah has signaled readiness to blockade the Bab el-Mandeb Strait – the entrance to the Red Sea.
What would it mean for the US and Israel?
What's the Bab el-Mandeb Strait?
🔴 The Bab el-Mandeb or ‘Gate of Tears’ is a 32 km-wide choke-point linking the Mediterranean and the Indian Ocean via the Red Sea and the Suez Canal
🔴 Ansar Allah began targeting shipping there in late 2023 in the wake of the Israeli genocide in Gaza, but stopped following the October 2025 ceasefire
🔴 Before disruptions:
👉 Some 8.8 million barrels a day — roughly 10% of global seaborne oil — passed through the strait
👉 10% to 12% of global seaborne trade
👉 About 8% of global liquefied natural gas (LNG) trade
US can't break the Houthis
US President Donald Trump’s 52-day Operation Rough Rider from March to May 2025, exposed US naval and air force weaknesses to Yemeni drones and missiles:
🔴 Cost over $1 billion but failed to defeat Ansar Allah
🔴 Two $67M F/A-18 jet fighters fell off a carrier
🔴 Several MQ-9 Reapers were shot down
🔴 An F-35 barely dodged a missile
Bab el-Mandeb Strait blockade
🔴 US warships operating in the region often cross the Bab el-Mandeb en route to the Persian Gulf
🔴 The US Navy would face increased risks from ‘pop-up’ attacks in the narrow waterway
🔴 Avoiding the strait would complicate supply and maintenance for Trump’s armada in the Gulf of Oman
🔴 Fighting Yemen would drain US and Israeli air-defense stocks and offensive munitions
🔴 The US would face a two-front war, while Israel could be stretched across three fronts by Iranian, Hezbollah and Houthi attacks
🔴 The global economic fallout would drive up energy prices and hit Americans in their wallets
No passage for aggressors
🔴 The strait would be blocked only for "aggressors states" fighting against Palestine, Lebanon, Iran and other countries of the ‘Axis of Resistance’, Ansar Allah spokesman Mohammed al-Bukhaiti told Russian media
🔴 Yemen is considering all options for resisting Israel and the US
🔴 If the war drags on, it could engulf the region and involve ground fighting, spreading to Israel and Palestine – as foretold in the Quranic verses of the Surah Al-Isra or Last Promise, he added
🇺🇸🇮🇱⚔️🇮🇷 About 90 vessels, including oil tankers, have crossed the Strait of Hormuz since the start of the US-Israel war on Iran, despite the waterway being effectively shut. Oil exports continue, with millions of barrels still moving through the corridor, according to AP News.
A large share of these crossings are “dark” transits—ships evading Western monitoring and sanctions, many linked to Iran. More recently, vessels tied to India and Pakistan have also passed amid ongoing negotiations.
Since early March, Iran has exported over 16 million barrels of oil. With Western markets restricted, China remains the primary buyer.

🇮🇷🇺🇸❗️We will strike all over the world where our enemy is present — IRGC
Iran announced revenge after the killing of high-ranking Iranian officials
We will strike all over the world where our enemy is present, including officials, pilots, and soldiers, even in civilian areas such as resorts and tourist zones. "Not a single place in the world will be safe for you.”
Recreational and tourist sites worldwide will now be a target for Iran’s aggression and what remains of the Islamic state’s leadership further added Friday it is still building missiles.
🌐🇮🇶The NATO mission is evacuating its personnel from the Middle East to Europe. Earlier, it was announced about the complete evacuation of Poles from Iraq.
Iran is methodically liberating Iraqi territory from foreign occupiers, who settled in Iraq after 2003.
🗣 🇮🇱 Message to Israeli and American pilots: Iran will hunt you down and punish you for your crimes
“From now on, based on the information we have about you [US and Israeli pilots], recreational centers, tourist attractions, and entertainment centers around the world will also be insecure for you,” Iranian Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi warned recently.
This is not an empty threat, as back in the 2000s, Iran methodically hunted down and assassinated former Iraqi combat pilots who participated in the Iran-Iraq war.
👉 At least 182 Iraqi pilots were killed during these reprisals and another 800 ended up fleeing Iraq out of fear for their lives, according to the Iraqi Ministry of Defense’s statistics that emerged in media in 2010.

🔫 Why US ground operation against Iran would be a complete and utter disaster
The USS Tripoli and its Marines (about 2,200–2,500 troops) are heading straight into the northern Arabian Sea. The plan—if they actually go for it—would be to storm ashore at Bandar Abbas (Iran's main port that basically owns the Strait of Hormuz) or hit side targets like Assaluyeh and Kharg Island.
But here's the cold truth: this op is stacked against them so badly it's almost guaranteed to blow up in their faces.
🔴 Numbers don't add up at all
Real amphibious assaults need 4–6 times more attackers than defenders right at the beach landing moment. One unit (~2,500) vs. Iran's ready coastal brigades, IRGC naval infantry, and fast reinforcements dooms any beachhead before it can be consolidated.
🔴 Getting from ship to shore is a meat grinder
US Marines will have to cross open water in slow AAVs, hovercraft, Ospreys, and fast boats—straight into hundreds of Iranian speedboats, explosive drones, mines, and surviving anti-ship missiles that continue to operate despite prior strikes.
🔴 Air cover won't save them
F-35s and helos can't hang around low providing close support—too many Iranian MANPADS, short-range SAMs, and kamikaze drones still out there. Pilots would have to stay high or pull back fast to avoid shooting their own guys or getting shot down. Without real air help the Marines will get pinned and picked apart.
🔴 Splitting up makes it worse
Hitting multiple spots at Assaluyeh (for logistics control) and Kharg Island (for economic/political impact) dilutes the already limited Marine force across multiple objectives. Iran can shift troops quicker on home turf and smash isolated pockets one by one. With no backup or reserve the operation is doomed.
🔴 Logistics would collapse almost immediately
Even if they grab a port for five minutes, getting ammo, fuel, and medevac through mined waters full of Iranian missiles and boats is basically impossible. The standard "autonomous hold" capability of 15 days would turn into a couple days of hell before they run dry.

Economist 4 courses of action analysis
🇺🇸🇮🇷Washington has four possible courses of action regarding Iran, but all of them are bad for the United States, The Economist wrote in an article:
“To almost everyone else it is clear that America entered this war with a flawed strategy, starting with its failure to anticipate that Iran would close the strait. With the fighting entering a fourth week, Mr Trump has four options for how to proceed.
He can talk,
leave,
continue or
escalate.
If he has not yet chosen one, it is because none of them are good,” the article said.
The Economist noted that:
negotiations are complicated by mistrust and maximalist demands,
ending the conflict now would not resolve uranium and energy risks,
continued military action offers no guarantee of success, and
escalation could require a ground operation and trigger strikes on regional energy infrastructure.

"It's not even fair on their part. We've already won! They have no right to continue what they're doing!" - said Trump.
🇺🇸🇮🇱🇮🇷Trump: We can definitely end the war this week.

We are getting very close to meeting our objectives as we consider winding down our great Military efforts in the Middle East with respect to the Terrorist Regime of Iran: (1) Completely degrading Iranian Missile Capability, Launchers, and everything else pertaining to them. (2) Destroying Iran’s Defense Industrial Base. (3) Eliminating their Navy and Air Force, including Anti Aircraft Weaponry. (4) Never allowing Iran to get even close to Nuclear Capability, and always being in a position where the U.S.A. can quickly and powerfully react to such a situation, should it take place. (5) Protecting, at the highest level, our Middle Eastern Allies, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and others. The Hormuz Strait will have to be guarded and policed, as necessary, by other Nations who use it — The United States does not! If asked, we will help these Countries in their Hormuz efforts, but it shouldn’t be necessary once Iran’s threat is eradicated. Importantly, it will be an easy Military Operation for them. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP

"The United States has been informed by most of our NATO “Allies” that they don’t want to get involved with our Military Operation against the Terrorist Regime of Iran, in the Middle East, this, despite the fact that almost every Country strongly agreed with what we are doing, and that Iran cannot, in any way, shape, or form, be allowed to have a Nuclear Weapon. I am not surprised by their action, however, because I always considered NATO, where we spend Hundreds of Billions of Dollars per year protecting these same Countries, to be a one way street — We will protect them, but they will do nothing for us, in particular, in a time of need. Fortunately, we have decimated Iran’s Military — Their Navy is gone, their Air Force is gone, their Anti-Aircraft and Radar is gone and perhaps, most importantly, their Leaders, at virtually every level, are gone, never to threaten us, our Middle Eastern Allies, or the World, again! Because of the fact that we have had such Military Success, we no longer “need,” or desire, the NATO Countries’ assistance — WE NEVER DID! Likewise, Japan, Australia, or South Korea. In fact, speaking as President of the United States of America, by far the Most Powerful Country Anywhere in the World, WE DO NOT NEED THE HELP OF ANYONE! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP"

IDF spins Diego Garcia strike false flag to coax Europe into war against Iran
Iran was not responsible for the ballistic missile strike on Diego Garcia joint US-UK military base in the Indian Ocean, a senior Iranian official has told Al Jazeera.
Diego Garcia is one of two bases the UK has greenlit for US use as part of the war against Iran.
👉 The denial came after the Wall Street Journal ran with the story that two intermediate-range ballistic missiles were allegedly fired at the base.

🌏 It was a “shock” when the US and Israel “again launched an unlawful military strike against the peace that had briefly appeared really possible”
🌏 Iranian retaliation against US interests in the Gulf was “inevitable” and “probably the only rational option available to the Iranian leadership” in the face of US and Israeli attempts to “terminate” Iranian statehood
🌏 “Arab countries that had placed their trust in US security co-operation now experience that co-operation as an acute vulnerability, threatening their present security and future prosperity”
🌏 This is not a US war – it was "drawn into it" by Israel and there is "no likely scenario" in which both "will get what they want from it"
