Breaking News: False Flag.

UAE ship refused to follow Iran requirements for passage. Fired upon. Iranian speedboats were destroyed. UAE refinery bombed. High ranking Iranian military spokesman said they did not do it. False flag.

Israel gearing up. Trump threatened Iran. Attacks launched against US warships.

UAE ships did not have Iranian approval. UAE (Israeli proxy) broke the rules. Israel got what it wanted by scuttling negotiations again and possibly helped by a drone attack on UAE it knew would be blamed on Iran.

🇮🇷 BREAKING: Iran denies striking Fujairah oil facilities, blames U.S. "military adventurism" for the fire.

A knowledgeable Iranian military official told IRIB:

"The Islamic Republic had no premeditated plan to attack the mentioned oil facilities. What happened was the result of the U.S. military's adventurism to create a passage for illegal ship transit through the forbidden routes of the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. military must be held accountable for it.

U.S. statesmen must end the ugly behavior of using force in diplomacy and cease military adventurism in this sensitive oil region that affects the economies of all countries worldwide."

Even those who hate Iran should recognize that Khamenei has little reason to give up his nuclear program. The U.S. government has spent this century demonizing Iraq, Libya, Iran, Venezuela, Russia, and North Korea, and the only two we have not invaded, Russia and North Korea, have nukes. That is no coincidence. Washington’s foreign policy has made world leaders view nuclear weapons as a tool to protect themselves against regime change.

Seymour Hersh: Trump is backing away from Israel

America’s love affair with Israel has hit an astonishing bump because President Donald Trump, in a political panic over the economic fallout from the Iranian blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, is now “talking to Iran,” as an Israeli insider put it, about ending the current impasse in return for a payment from the United States of at least $25 billion, and possibly much more, to the government in Tehran. In return, Iran would end its blockade and open the strait to all traffic, ending a crisis for Trump, the US, and much of the world.

One motive for Trump’s extraordinary step—I was not told how or by whom Trump’s offer was communicated—may be personal. The president, I was told, “no longer trusts Israel. He now believes he was misled” by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the potential for success of the recent joint US-Israeli bombing attack, a goal of which was to trigger an overthrow of the religious leadership in Iran. The president is said not to share Israel’s existential concern about the need to destroy or neutralize the large depot of partially enriched uranium that is allegedly stored in at least three deep tunnels in Iran. Iran as a member of the world’s nuclear club may be an existential threat for the Israeli leadership, but not for the president of the United States.

“He wants out,” the Israeli insider told me, and the Israeli leadership “is very upset because Trump”—in his fear of the political cost to him of a continuing blockade of the strait “has shown a willingness to ignore Israeli interests and desires.” People in the Israeli leadership “say he’s lost it. He doesn’t think of the consequences. You cannot do negotiations with Iran because every step we make he immediately broadcasts it on his social media posts. He is so obtuse.”

One clear sign of Trump’s indecision came this morning when the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg published similar stories quoting Trump telling “his aides” to prepare for a lengthy US Navy blockade of the strait in an effort to compel cash-strapped Iran to agree to giving up the nation’s stockpile of partially enriched uranium. The Journal depicted the offer as demonstrating that Trump, “who always seeks a quick and salable victory, is devoid of a silver bullet.”

The Israeli insider told me that the reports accurately reflected the conflicting opinions inside the administration about how to resolve the crisis, given the widespread belief that the Iranian leadership, facing steep losses of income, will eventually have to give in to economic pressure.

This is a savvy legal move by Trump.

May 1: War Powers letter formally ends hostilities, preserves force posture, asserts Article II constitutional authority.

May 3: "Project Freedom" announced as a humanitarian operation, not military.

May 4 Monday: US Navy escorts neutral commercial ships through Hormuz under freedom of navigation rights. If Iran fires on it: that is Iran starting a new conflict. Trump is responding defensively, not attacking. No new War Powers clock starts because the US did not initiate hostilities. Iran did.

Iranian Point of View report on Negotiations Progress

“We are facing a party that constantly changes its views,” which “complicate[s] any diplomatic process,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spox Esmail Baghaei told reporters after Washington’s apparent rejection of Iran’s 14-point peace plan.

🗣 “The United States has made international waters unsafe due to piracy,” and if other countries “want to help” resolve the crisis, “they had better prevent the escalation of the US actions in the region and beyond,” Baghaei suggested.

The spokesman also dismissed reports about Iran’s long-term uranium enrichment capabilities being part of negotiations. “At this stage, we are not talking about anything other than a complete halt to the war,” he stressed.

Iran’s 14-point peace plan reportedly contains a 30-day timeline for resolving the conflict, a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon, non-aggression/security guarantees, a withdrawal of US forces from the region, the lifting of blockades and sanctions and war reparations.

🤥 Trump claims the proposals don’t give the US what it “needs to have,” and that Iran has not yet paid a “big enough price for what they have done to Humanity, and the World, over the last 47 years.”

🇺🇸🇮🇷A White House representative stated that the administration is conducting "active negotiations" with Congress regarding the possibility of obtaining permission for a full-scale war with Iran.

The president said he is "not satisfied" with Tehran's latest proposal but believes that starting a war with Iran has been "smart" anyway.

Smugglers have paralyzed the Iran-Pakistan border. Thousands of Iranians are smuggling fuel into Pakistan. The authorities have stopped fighting them because it allows them to relieve some of the pressure on overflowing oil storage facilities.

🇮🇱💬Netanyahu:

We are purchasing two squadrons of advanced aircraft, F-35 and F-15IA.

Our pilots can reach anywhere in Iran's skies, and they are prepared to do so if required.

And regarding independence: I have directed to invest in self-production capability of armaments.

In the coming decade, we will add 350 billion shekels to the defense budget, and this is to produce these armaments in Israel and not be dependent abroad.

Simultaneously, we will develop groundbreaking aircraft, blue and white products.

This will change the whole picture.

And regarding drones: a few weeks ago, I ordered the establishment of a special project to counter the drone threat.

And already today, a progress report on the subject will be presented to me. It will take time, but we are on it.

Israel signs deal for two new F-35 and F-15IA squadrons – $119 billion military buildup

Israel has approved a deal worth tens of billions of dollars to purchase a fourth F-35 squadron from Lockheed Martin and a second F-15IA squadron from Boeing, the Israeli Defense Ministry announced.

🔶 F-35 fleet to expand from 50 to ~100 aircraft

🔶 F-15IA fleet from 25 to ~50

🔶 Annual defense spending: from $28billion to $42 billion

🔶 Total plan: $119 billion

The ministry added that the new squadrons will help Israel maintain strategic air superiority in the region, which has been key to the war on Iran that Israel and the US launched on February 28.

🛫 Israeli warplanes have been bombing nearly nonstop since October 2023, including Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran. Most munitions come from the US, making Israel dependent on America to wage its wars.

Since the Iran war began on February 28, over 115,600 tons of US military equipment have arrived in Israel on 403 flights and 10 ships.

Netanyahu's prosecution offers plea deal — no preconditions

Israel's Attorney General says she's willing to negotiate a plea bargain with the prime minister in his corruption trial, provided there are no preconditions and court proceedings aren't delayed.

✉️ "Prosecutors are willing to hold discussions with the defense to devise a worthy plea bargain, if there are no preconditions to the talks," the letter reads.

A deal would likely mean an admission of guilt and Netanyahu's resignation. Years of legal stalling may finally be ending.

Next Prime Minister Threat

The possible next Prime Minister of Israel, Naftali Bennett, says the U.S. could face another 9/11-style terroist attack unless Americans understand why they must fight wars Israel demands. News US selling more interceptor missiles to its MidEast allies bullsh*t — ex-CIA analyst

It’s easy to debunk it by examining the data on Patriot PAC-3 production, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson says.

If we assume that by 2026 the US had around 6,420 missiles produced from 2015, we have to subtract off:

🔶 Around 2,000 already given to Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Israel, which leaves roughly 4,600 missiles in stocks

🔶 1,000 given to Ukraine, so the US has around 3,600 Patriot missiles

Given the Twelve-Day war of June 2025, the US intercepted at least a thousand Iranian missiles and drones, which leaves them with only about 2,000 missiles.

💬 "They don’t have any. They’re moving magical things around on paper... That’s why I say this announcement out of the State Department is bullsh*t. Go ahead. Start the war again and see what happens!" Johnson sums up.

🇮🇱 Eighth front: Israel spends $730m on narrative control to improve reputation

As international support for Israel erodes over rising regional hostilities, Israeli lawmakers responded by adding $730 million to the 2026 propaganda budget last month, Israeli media report.

👉 The funds are designated for Hasbara, the country's information warfare apparatus that is now rebranded by Israeli officials as the “Eighth Front,” or a so-called “Digital Iron Dome.” It operates as a real-time digital censor, using AI and influencer networks to suppress unfriendly content while pushing state-approved narratives.

This year’s allocation, over four times that of last year, funds a campaign of digital ads and political outreach to shape perceptions of Israel. Analysts, however, reject the spending as powerless against the reality of Israel’s actions in the Middle East.

Bill demands equal protections for US troops, citizens fighting for the IDF

HR 8445 wants the extension of staple US military civil relief and employment protections and benefits to every American currently serving in the IDF.

The legislation would entitle these soldiers to array of financial safeguards ordinarily reserved for Americans, from keeping their civilian jobs in the US upon return after service, to barring employers from "discriminating" against them, to a 6% cap on interest rates and protections against eviction and foreclosures.

✍️ The bill is unilateral, meaning Israel doesn’t have to do anything in return, and is unheard of in modern international legal practice.

Not to mention the fact that it translates to employers and banks absorbing the costs of soldiers serving in a foreign army that’s committing genocide.

🚫✡️ Israel could wreck US-Iran ceasefire - ex-counterterror chief

It's absolutely essential to prevent Israel from sabotaging the two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran, says Joe Kent.

💬 “The last thing we need is the Israelis doing what they have done in past negotiations and targeting the negotiators, or taking a series of strikes that escalates the conflict.”

To “restrain” the Israelis, the US must trim its military support—enough so they can only use their forces defensively, not for offensive operations against Iran, he argues.

Kent warns it’s crucial not to just take Israel's word for it that they agree to this ceasefire, since “they have a very poor track record of sticking to such deals.”

Tony Seruga:

THEY STOLE OUR BOMBS: How Israel’s Mossad Walked Out of Pennsylvania with Enough U.S. Weapons-Grade Uranium for an Arsenal — And Washington Covered It Up 1968:

While Apollo 8 orbited the Moon, a far darker “Apollo Affair” unfolded in the quiet hills of Pennsylvania. From NUMEC’s uranium fuel plant in Apollo, PA, hundreds of kilograms of weapons-grade highly enriched uranium (HEU) — enough for multiple atomic bombs — simply vanished. Not “normal processing losses.” Not accounting errors.

Declassified CIA records are brutally clear. In February 1976, Deputy Director Carl Duckett stunned a closed NRC briefing: the Agency concluded Israel had diverted the material straight from NUMEC and used it for its first nuclear weapons at Dimona. Environmental samples near the reactor matched U.S. Portsmouth-origin HEU signatures. The plant’s founder, Zalman Shapiro — pioneering naval-reactor chemist and ardent Zionist — maintained extensive Israeli contacts.

In September 1968, four Israeli nationals toured the facility with AEC approval. Among them: Rafi Eitan — the Mossad legend who captured Eichmann in Buenos Aires, later mastermind of the Jonathan Pollard spy ring, and head of LAKAM scientific intelligence. Their cover? “Discussing thermoelectric devices.” A former NUMEC employee told the FBI in 1980 he witnessed armed strangers loading HEU canisters onto a truck at the loading dock in early 1965 — manifest destination: a Zim-Israel shipping line vessel. A manager allegedly threatened him to stay silent. The GAO’s declassified 1978 report was scathing: federal agencies (FBI, CIA, AEC) conducted “less than adequate” investigations, failed to coordinate, and appeared uninterested in solving it. No charges. Ever.

Today, the town still bears the scars — massive taxpayer-funded radioactive cleanup delayed into 2026+, suspected health impacts lingering in a residential community. This wasn’t a heist. It was the original proliferation betrayal — America’s nuclear crown jewels diverted to a “special ally,” with the full knowledge (and apparent acquiescence) of elements inside the U.S. government. Declassified files from the National Security Archive don’t lie. The question isn’t “Did it happen?” It’s “Why does Washington still pretend it didn’t?” The Samson Option didn’t begin in the desert. It began on American soil.

Embarrassingly false:

🇺🇸🇸🇾⚡️The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the US has completely withdrawn all its troops from the country's territory.

Solomon says President Trump is about to begin declassifying documents at lightning speed in an operation he is calling “Hypersonic Clarity."

He believes this massive document dump could pave the way for a grand conspiracy case against the intel agency spooks that have weaponized the government against Trump and millions of Americans for over a decade.

"We’re gonna get a level of transparency in a release and declassification of documents unparalleled in American history. The president's setting up something that I think will be unbelievable."

"I do think there will be some accountability. It’ll never be enough for what we went through the last 12 years... I think there’ll be a speed of disclosure and a speed of prosecution that we didn’t see in past years."

Putin's economic adviser, Oreshkin, believes that half of China's cities will be abandoned by the end of the 21st century.

He estimates that China will peak its urban population between 2030 and 2035, and by the end of the 21st century, half of China's cities will simply be empty.

🟦 The urban population peaked in 2023, when Shanghai recorded its first year-end population decline. COVID-19 was a trigger, but hyperurbanization overall has resulted in a massive, hidden stagnation in the construction sector.

The scale of China's population decline over the next 10 years could reach approximately 60 million, comparable to the population of all of France (68.5 million people),

according to SCMP, citing a report by the Rhodium Group research group.

One of the main reasons is the sharp decline in the birth rate – 7.92 million children in 2025, 17% less than in 2024. China's population has been declining for four consecutive years. Other important factors include the rising cost of living and changing public sentiment.

This trend has already begun to impact the economy. In 2025, budget subsidies to social security funds reached a record 2.5 trillion yuan ($425 billion), equivalent to 10.1% of all national budget expenditures. If current demographic trends continue, this amount will continue to grow.

There are even worse predictions: over the next 10 years, China's population will decline not by 60 million, but by at least 200 million—and this excludes geopolitical factors. De facto, China is already undergoing total robotization, with the goal of halving its human resource base within the next 20 years.

10% of China's social spending translates into 25% of social spending in 10 years, with profits dwindling to zero and the entire private sector transformed into large state-owned trusts. This is more terrifying than an oil blockade or a war over Taiwan.

Therefore, the Chinese leadership sees only one way to deal with this - an all-out war for control over foreign markets + total robotization of the entire country.

China is the second most expensive country in the world to raise children - Beijing Yuwa Demographic Research Institute

The average cost of raising a child under 18 in China is about 75 thousand dollars (💴538 thousand yuan), which is more than 6.3 times higher than GDP per capita.

China is second only to 🇰🇷 South Korea, which has the world's lowest birth rate.

US tech giants secretly push ‘American AI’ and anti-Chinese propaganda — report

Dark-money group Build American AI, which is indirectly supported by OpenAI, Palantir, and Perplexity, is revealed to have started a massive influence campaign across social media to boost public support of US AI models and, at the same time, demonize Chinese advancements, Wired reports.

The plot is aimed at two large platforms — TikTok and Instagram, where influencers with hundreds of thousands of followers are offered $5K per post.

The scripts they are given are nothing subtle:

🔴 Simple "let’s support domestic AI" type of posts, catering to patriotism of the public

🔴 "AI enhances ordinary life" messages, promoting a greater use of the technology

🔴 Brutal anti-Chinese slop, aimed at scaring people into heavier use of US-based tech instead of Chinese versions

💬 "[If China beats the US in the AI race,] it could mean that China gets personal data from me and my kids, and take jobs that should be here," one of the influencers was quoted as saying.

Who’s behind the curtain? A lobbying network called Leading the Future, which receives massive amounts of money from the major American tech companies — as much as $140M in contributions and commitments.

✡️ WHY ISRAEL JUST PUT A BOOT ON THE GROUND IN SOMALILAND

Israel has appointed its first ambassador to Somaliland — Michael Lotem. The move followed formal recognition of the breakaway African province in December 2025 and a visit by Israel’s foreign minister to Hargeisa in January 2026.

🤔 But why Somaliland? Not for diplomacy. For positioning.

Israel is apparently bracing for a wider war with Iran. The Houthis have already shut down the Bab el-Mandeb Strait to Israeli shipping. The Strait of Hormuz is under threat.

That leaves Israel with a problem:

🌏 No secure Red Sea corridor to Eilat.

🌏 46% of its oil comes via vulnerable routes.

🌏 Asian imports through Dubai are at risk.

And Somaliland:

📍 Located on the Horn of Africa, just 400 km from the Houthi-held port of Hodeidah

📍 Overlooks the Gulf of Aden and Bab al-Mandab Strait — a global energy chokepoint

📍 The real prize - Berbera port and airbase are already being expanded. In practical terms, Berbera could serve as Israel’s Red Sea watchtower.

What Israel actually wants?

📹 A forward intelligence post to monitor Houthi missiles and drones

📹 Naval & air deployment options near Yemen

📹 A secure logistical hub for crisis resupply

📹 Leverage against Egyptian, Saudi, and Turkish influence in the Red Sea

📹 A springboard for possible operations against Iran-aligned forces

👉Israel didn’t recognize Somaliland out of goodwill. It did it to break out of a naval siege, plant a flag near Yemen, and build a new axis in the Horn of Africa.

❗️The ambassador is just the public face of a quiet military expansion.

Somaliland refuses to help Israel ethnically cleanse Gaza - report

Israel’s budding bromance with Somaliland has hit a snag when the latter promptly refused to become a destination for thousands of Palestinians whom the Israelis want to expel from the Gaza Strip, Haaretz notes.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s adviser Caroline Glick made a similar offer to the Democratic Republic of Congo - which was also rejected.

Glick further tried to pitch the plan for the displacement of Gaza’s population to the US Embassy in Israel, portraying it as an effort to implement Trump’s “Riviera of the Middle East” plan on the devastated Palestinian enclave.

Meanwhile, Israel continues carving up the Gaza Strip by imposing more restricted areas and effectively trying to drive Palestinians from their land.

The Bees Were Told Today And It Wasn’t Just a Photo Op. During King Charles III’s White House visit, President Trump walked the royal couple straight to the newly expanded beehives on the South Lawn. Melania had just unveiled a hive shaped like the White House itself. Then a live bee landed calmly on Trump’s open palm while the King and Queen watched in surprise. This wasn’t random. In ancient British and Scottish tradition, especially among royal and rural families, you must formally “tell the bees” of any major change in the household: a death, a marriage, a new master of the house. Fail to do so and the hive may abandon you. When Queen Elizabeth II passed in 2022, the royal beekeeper performed the ritual at Buckingham Palace and Clarence House: “The Queen is dead. Long live the King.” Today Trump, a distant Scottish Stuart cousin of the royals, publicly showed the thriving American hives to the King. In the esoteric reading, this was a modern “telling of the bees” for the post-Elizabeth era: a symbolic handover and alignment of the two “hives” (the nations/societies themselves) under new stewardship. This was a very public demonstration: Trump standing tall as the one in charge, and the King quietly capitulating on American soil. The bees, and the world, just witnessed who holds the hive now.

About Pakistan 20 years ago..

🚨 From CIA asset to 9/11 monster: How US spawned Osama bin Laden

Fifteen years have passed since Navy SEALs secretly descended on a compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, and killed Osama bin Laden — a raid framed as long-overdue retribution for the September 11 attacks.

Buried under official narratives is the dark reality: bin Laden - founder of al-Qaeda - was America’s own creation.

📍 In 2012, while under house arrest, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange interviewed Imran Khan — then a Pakistani opposition politician, who would go on to become prime minister.

Khan, who called the US-Pakistan relationship a degrading “client-master” dynamic where his country served as “a hired gun, being paid to kill America’s enemies,” called the bin Laden raid “the ultimate humiliation.”

💬 “What you must understand is that Osama bin Laden was trained by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the CIA. All of Al-Qaeda were trained by the CIA and ISI about 20 years back.”

These fighters, he stressed, were assets of the Pakistani military and the ISI — and bankrolled by the CIA.

During the 1979–1989 covert war in Afghanistan, the CIA channeled billions to mujahideen factions fighting Soviet forces who were invited into the country at the request of the Afghan government.

US money funded the very networks that nurtured bin Laden.

👉 In 2013, Sibel Edmonds, a former FBI translator-turned-whistleblower, described how the CIA and the Pentagon ran covert operations supporting Islamist militant networks linked to bin Laden — right up to 9/11.

She argued in her book Classified Woman and in numerous interviews that high-level corruption inside the US intel community hobbled investigations into the very militants who would carry out the attacks.

When Edmonds tried to speak out, the US government silenced her — invoking the “state secrets privilege.”

Nord Stream sabotage & Iran war: How the US plotted a global energy takeover

🇺🇸 The US is pursuing a coordinated lawless strategy to dominate global oil and gas flows, argues investigative journalist Richard Medhurst. In his article on Substack, he frames wars and sanctions as parts of a broad energy robbery campaign resting on several pillars:

➡️ Energy independence at home through massive domestic oil & LNG output

➡️ Elimination of competitors’ infrastructure (sanctions, wars, sabotage)

➡️ Market capture via scarcity by removing alternative suppliers

➡️ Forced dependency on US LNG exports

The author connects a timeline of events:

🔴 Using the Ukraine proxy war as cover, the US sanctioned Russia, and Nord Stream was blown up (2022).

🔴 US share of Europe's gas supply jumped from 9% to number one, turning the EU into a permanent client.

🔴 The US-Israeli war on Iran, unleashed on February 28, provided cover to cripple the main competition — Qatar.

🔴 Iran's retaliatory strikes on the Ras Laffan facility in March created force majeure, canceling cheap long-term contracts to China and Europe.

🔴 On the same day, the EU banned Russian spot gas, pushing buyers straight to overpriced US LNG.

👉 A key focus is the Eastern Mediterranean — large offshore reserves across Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and Israel.

♦️ US energy giant Chevron inks a $35 billion gas deal with Israel — planned before the Gaza genocide.

♦️ Deals secured with Syria (offshore oil/gas exploration in the Mediterranean), Greece, and Cyprus.

A new US-owned gas artery from the Levant to Europe is viewed as a direct replacement for the destroyed Nord Stream, according to the author.

He identifies China 🇨🇳 as the strategic long-term target:

🌏 About 1/3 of China's oil imports come from Venezuela, Russia, and Iran.

🌏 Each of these suppliers is described as deliberately destabilized or constrained via naval deployments, oil seizures, sanctions, and maritime disruptions.

📌 The US is in an ultimate transition to a "lawless Pirate State," desperate to foist a new "petrogas-dollar" system on an increasingly multipolar world.

🚨🇨🇳 Strait of Malacca: World's Next Flashpoint After Hormuz?

The Strait of Hormuz has dominated global headlines since late February 2026 — but a strategically more consequential move is taking shape in Southeast Asia — one that fits a recognizable pattern of US strategic encirclement of China.

On April 13, 2026, Washington signed a Major Defense Cooperation Partnership (MDCP) with Indonesia, covering military modernisation, joint training, and maritime defense technologies. The US is also seeking expanded access to Indonesian airspace — a request Jakarta says is still under "careful review." But the framework is already in place.

🔸Why Malacca Matters

🟠 75–80% of China's imported oil transits the strait daily

🟠 24% of all global seaborne trade flows through it

🟠 At its narrowest — the Phillips Channel — it is just 2.8 km wide

🟠 No adequate alternative exists: detours add 1,000–1,500 nautical miles or 10–15 extra days at sea

China's alternatives — the Myanmar pipeline (440,000 bpd vs. 11 million daily import needs), Central Asian pipelines (~10% of imports), the CPEC via Gwadar, and seasonal Arctic routes — fall drastically short.

The US doesn't need to fire a shot. Naval presence near the Phillips Channel and military access to Indonesian facilities creates economic coercion without direct conflict — the same logic applied at Hormuz.

Any disruption paralyses the entire Global South — India, Southeast Asia, and East Africa all depend on Malacca for food, fuel, and industrial imports. Singapore's 40 million containers and Malaysia's Port Klang would be effectively frozen.

Indonesia holds co-sovereignty over the strait alongside Malaysia and Singapore. But history shows that once US military infrastructure embeds itself in a region, the terms of sovereignty tend to shift.

Indonesia has so far maintained its traditional non-alignment posture, preserving strong economic ties with both China and Russia even as it formalises the MDCP with Washington. Its co-sovereignty over the strait — shared with Malaysia and Singapore — means it retains sovereign authority over how the waterway is used.

🇦🇪🇺🇸⚡️🇮🇷 An image has emerged of a UAE Mirage 2000-9 fighter jet that carried out strikes against the petrochemical facilities on Iran's Lavan Island in the Persian Gulf earlier today. The incident on Lavan Island occurred roughly eight hours after the announcement of a U.S.-Iran ceasefire.

Note: The UAE is the only operator of the Mirage 2000-9, an upgraded export variant of the French Mirage 2000 design, in the region. The UAE Air Force has been phasing out its fleet of these aircraft in favor of Rafale fighters.
