And yet, somehow, number two in the Vatican, Cardinal George Pell, was found guilty and given a prison sentence which at his age, could become a sentence of death. On 17th June 1982, a man was found hanging from Blackfriars Bridge next to the River Thames. It was Roberto Calvi, known as ‘Banchiere di Dio’ or ‘God’s Banker’, an elite and corrupt financier with links to the Pope and the Mafia. His death was not the suicide it initially appeared to be.
Calvi ran a major bank in Italy, Banco Ambrosiano, using it to launder and export currency on behalf of multiple criminal organisations as well as The Vatican. The significance attached to the phrase ‘Blackfriars’ caused some folk at the time to speculate that Calvi's murder was some form of masonic warning.

An Italian court has sentenced more than 200 crime gang members to a total of 2,200 years in prison, following the country’s largest mafia trial in three decades.
During the trial, which began in January 2021 and took place in a purpose-built bunker in the southern Italian town of Lamezia Terme, more than 400 lawyers represented the defendants and some 900 witnesses provided testimony.
A panel of three judges, who had been deliberating the fate of the 338 accused since the trial ended on October 16, delivered their verdict Monday. It took the court one hour and 40 minutes to hand down its rulings, Italian news outlet Ansa reported.
Some 207 mobsters were jailed and more than 100 were acquitted. The total jail time includes five life sentences and three 30-year sentences.
Among those tried were 42 women – a record for a mafia trial – of whom 39 were convicted.
The mobsters were affiliated with Italy’s notorious ’Nrangheta crime group and were convicted of mafia association, extortion, bribery and five murders.
The trial was referred to as the Rinascita Scott, named after the United States special agent Scott W. Sieben, who was credited with uncovering ties between Colombia’s cartels and the ’Nrangheta.

QUOTE: A whistleblower has come forward with an explosive new trove of documents, rivaling or exceeding the Twitter Files and Facebook Files in scale and importance. They describe the activities of an "anti-disinformation" group called the Cyber Threat Intelligence League, or CTIL, that officially began as the volunteer project of data scientists and defense and intelligence veterans but whose tactics over time appear to have been absorbed into multiple official projects, including those of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The CTI League documents offer the missing link answers to key questions not addressed in the Twitter Files and Facebook Files. Combined, they offer a comprehensive picture of the birth of the "anti-disinformation" sector, or what we have called the Censorship Industrial Complex.
The whistleblower's documents describe everything from the genesis of modern digital censorship programs to the role of the military and intelligence agencies, partnerships with civil society organizations and commercial media, and the use of sock puppet accounts and other offensive techniques.
Another explains that while such activities overseas are "typically" done by "the CIA and NSA and the Department of Defense," censorship efforts "against Americans" have to be done using private partners because the government doesn't have the "legal authority." The whistleblower alleges that a leader of CTI League, a "former" British intelligence analyst, was "in the room" at the Obama White House in 2017 when she received the instructions to create a counter-disinformation project to stop a "repeat of 2016."
Over the last year, Public, Racket, congressional investigators, and others have documented the rise of the Censorship Industrial Complex, a network of over 100 government agencies and nongovernmental organizations that work together to urge censorship by social media platforms and spread propaganda about disfavored individuals, topics, and whole narratives. The US Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Information Security Agency (CISA) has been the center of gravity for much of the censorship, with the National Science Foundation financing the development of censorship and disinformation tools and other federal government agencies playing a supportive role.
Emails from CISA's NGO and social media partners show that CISA created the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP) in 2020, which involved the Stanford Internet Observatory (SIO) and other US government contractors. EIP and its successor, the Virality Project (VP), urged Twitter, Facebook and other platforms to censor social media posts by ordinary citizens and elected officials alike.
Despite the overwhelming evidence of government-sponsored censorship, it had yet to be determined where the idea for such mass censorship came from. In 2018, an SIO official and former CIA fellow, Renee DiResta, generated national headlines before and after testifying to the US Senate about Russian government interference in the 2016 election.
But what happened between 2018 and Spring 2020? The year 2019 has been a black hole in the research of the Censorship Industrial Complex to date. Political hitman Jack Smith ordered Twitter-X to turn over information on President Trump’s popular Twitter account during his continued fishing expedition into President Trump.
Jack Smith and the Biden DOJ also demanded information on all Twitter-X users who retweeted President Trump, liked President Trump’s tweets, or mentioned President Trump’s account in their tweets.
The New York Post reported: In the pages that aren’t obscured, there are demands by Smith for information on virtually every conceivable aspect of the 77-year-old former president’s Twitter account, including “all advertising information … and ad topic preferences,” all IP addresses associated with the account, Trump’s privacy and account settings, records of the account’s communications with Twitter support and all direct messages sent and received by the account from October 2020 to January 2021. The government also sought information on users who interacted with Trump leading up to the riot. “All information from the ‘Connect’ or ‘Notifications’ tab for the account, including all lists of Twitter users who have favorited or retweeted tweets posted by the account, as well as all tweets that include the username associated with the account (i.e. “mentions” or “replies”),” the warrant states. The warrant was issued to the social media giant along with a nondisclosure order, instructing the company not to notify Trump about the search. Twitter balked at the nondisclosure order, arguing in a failed court challenge that it was a violation of the First Amendment and the Stored Communications Act. The DOJ’s opposition to the company’s attempt to notify Trump about the warrant was also released Monday. “For what appears to be the first time in its history, Twitter Inc. (‘Twitter’) has filed a motion to vacate or modify an order that it not disclose the existence of a search warrant,” Smith argued, insisting that “there is reason to believe notification to the former president, a sophisticated actor with an expansive platform, would result in a statutorily cognizable harm.”

English courts order Vatican to disclose sensitive emails in 'trial of the century'
The Court of Appeal has ruled that the Vatican should face trial in the English courts for the first time in its 2,000-year history over the allegations that it has leveled against Mr Mincione. During the case, lawyers for the fund manager asked to see communications between Cardinal Pietro Parolin and the Argentinian Archbishop Edgar Pena Parra. The two high-ranking church officials oversaw the Vatican’s £124m investment in the fund managed by Mincione that owned the former Harrods warehouse in Chelsea.
Lawyers for the Catholic Church tried to argue that both Parolin and Pena Parra dealt with “high level” political matters, meaning their WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, and meeting notes and documents should be considered state secrets, known in the church as pontifical secrets. In a witness statement, Carlos Fernando Diaz Paniagua, a Roman Catholic priest and lawyer, said: “Public officials of the Holy See and the Vatican City make a solemn oath not to reveal matters under the pontifical secret regardless of any grave or urgent considerations or the need to protect the common good.”
“The violation of the pontifical secret is deemed a grave sin,” added Paniagua.
However, Mr Mincione’s lawyers successfully challenged the Vatican’s attempts to withhold the communications. In an order, Mr Justice Foxton ordered the Vatican to make the disclosure and pay Mr Mincione’s costs.
Mr Mincione said: “I am pleased that the Vatican’s attempts to keep these communications under wraps have failed. Once again, its legal position has immediately dissolved on contact with the laws of man.
“I have always maintained I did absolutely nothing wrong in relation to this transaction, and the Vatican has not been able to submit any evidence to prove otherwise. I hope that in due course, the full facts of this bizarre case can be shown to the wider world, and the true situation will become clear.”

He was given a meal, shower, clothing, and even cheers from other inmates. This is just one example of what holding these facilities accountable can do and how we can change the condition. The story you haven’t heard is that of Proud Boy Zachary Rehl, who is being held at Petersburg Federal Correction Institution – Medium in Virginia. As of today, it has been over a week since anyone has spoken to him. We are being told that the entire population of this prison is on lockdown. There are rumors that a gun was found on the premises.CondemnedUSA has been told, “Our loved ones have not had showers in over a week,” and “they even went a whole day without electricity.” All their belongings, including pictures, clothes, and legal paperwork, have been taken from them and will not be returned.
Risk limiting audits only limit the risk of failing the audit. They are being pushed around the country, and are insufficient.
They often select a very low number of ballots to be audited, and if the results don't match enough to pass the audit, they just add more ballots until it does.
Look at the "ballot polling RLA". They just count some votes and if the majority of the votes counted match the winner, it's a successful audit... 😳
In WA, many times the race being audited isn't even included on the ballots selected for the audit! Why are they selecting ballots that don't include the race being audited? So the already low number of ballots selected is now even lower!
It is a joke! They will select 150 ballots, and only 60 will have the actual race being audited. Really?!?!
The uncle of Brazilian political prisoner Chief José Acacio Serere Xavante passed away on Saturday at the age of 103. Serere was unsure whether he would be allowed to attend his uncle’s funeral due to the ankle bracelet he has to wear at the order of Brazil’s Chief Justice Alexandre de Moraes.
Serere Xavante was arrested on Dec. 12, 2022 for the crime of protesting and imprisoned without trial for nine months before his release Sept. 10. He thanked Gateway Pundit readers for their support, saying “If it were not for you, I would be dead.”
Now his uncle Celestino Xavante passed away at the age of 103, Serere’ wife Sueli stated, but it was not clear whether Chief Justice Alexandre de Moraes would allow Serere to attend his uncle’s funeral in Campinópolis in Mato Grosso state.

“Shockingly, the iron grip tightens further as a recent government notice now threatens legal action against anyone daring to question the National ‘Immunization’ Program,” Goddek wrote.
Goddek said the vaccine policy and an ongoing effort to silence critics are “the hallmark of authoritarian communist regimes.”
“While voicing the full extent of my concerns could land me behind bars in Brazil, it’s clear that politicians like Lula prioritize lining their pockets over safeguarding our young ones,” he said.
