Full version is worthy and highly applicable to today's situation:
For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence -- on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. It conducts the Cold War, in short, with a war-time discipline no democracy would ever hope or wish to match.” ― John F. Kennedy
"The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monstrous they cannot believe it exists. The American mind simply has not come to the realization of the evil which has been introduced into our midst. - J.Edgar Hoover"
Good and evil do not have national boundaries. It is convenient to think that they do, but they do not.
🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran turned to the United States for help after the helicopter crash with Raisi, said the head of the US State Department press service, Matthew Miller. Washington was unable to provide assistance to Tehran "mainly for logistical reasons."
In addition, Washington rejects the accusation that Washington's sanctions on the supply of spare parts to Iran may have led to the breakdown of Raisi's helicopter, the White House said.
🇺🇸 According to the State Department, the Iranian authorities themselves are to blame for using the 45-year-old helicopter in bad weather conditions.
In Israel, people distribute baklava to celebrate the death of Ibrahim Raisi.
Degradation in Ukraine and in Israel looks absolutely the same.
🇮🇷The cause of the crash of the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi was a technical malfunction of the aircraft, the Iranian news agency IRNA reports.
This is what ground truth looks like. Video from the first people to reach the crash site of the Iranian President.
Video here: https://t.me/intelslava/60699
After speaking with intelligence authorities, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said there is no evidence of “foul play” involving the helicopter crash with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
One narrative is that Mossad, having failed to secure a military victory in Gaza, and having failed to EMP/bomb the Natanz nuclear facility in Iran took it out personally on the President of Iran as a demonstration to anyone who would challenge them. Mossad and or the CIA sabotaged or otherwise brought down the helicopter.
The other narrative pushed uniformly across the Deep State is that "the weather caused the crash, that the pilots were stupid and incompetent, that they were dumb and cheap to fly an older helicopter and that the Deep State had nothing to do with the crash. Furthermore, everyone is glad he is dead and they got what they deserved."
🇸🇰 While Fico is recovering from the assassination attempt, there is a debate in Slovakia whether, after recovery, he will begin to further consolidate power and tighten policies towards the opposition in the style of Orban, writes the Financial Times.
The first thing he might do is try to establish control over state media. Fico was shot while parliament was discussing a plan to reform the public broadcaster RTVS, which the authorities accused of bias (the opposition opposed this reform).
The ruling majority is also pushing for legislation that critics say will tighten foreign funding for non-governmental organizations.
Some European officials fear that Fico, after the assassination attempt, could become an even more “destructive force” in the external arena - within NATO.
“Fico is making smart calculations combined with vindictiveness towards those who overthrew him in 2018, including a long list of journalists, prosecutors and civil society activists,” - one of the Western diplomats told the publication.

🇪🇺🇬🇪 The European Union will deprive Georgia of its membership candidate status if the country's authorities do not abandon the law on foreign agents - Foreign Policy magazine

🇺🇲🇬🇪🤡 The US may impose sanctions against Georgian politicians to “protect democracy” - Politico
“The authorities responsible for promoting the law on foreign agents in the country may face frozen accounts and a ban on entry into the United States. Tbilisi has committed an open attack on the United States and Western democracies,” the publication writes.
Georgia is being heavily pressured to engage in hostilities with Russia, opening a new NATO front against Moscow. To achieve this objective, the country’s radical nationalist sectors are trying to carry out a regime change operation, removing the head of Parliament, who has a neutral position, and giving a pro-Western turn to foreign policy.
It is not surprising that Zourabichvili vetoes the bill. She herself is a foreign agent, despite her position as president of the country. Zourabichvili is a French citizen and served as French ambassador to Georgia until the 2003 Color Revolution, when she gained Georgian citizenship and began a political career in the country. Zourabichvili has always protected French and European interests in Georgia, never showing any real concern for the country’s sovereignty. For this reason, she herself feels threatened by the possibility that Georgia will begin to act more severely against external agents.
Since last year, there have been a series of violent protests in Georgia, with radical ultranationalists taking to the country’s streets to demand a break in relations with Russia and alignment with the West. Zourabichvili is one of the main agitators of the demonstrations, clearly cooperating to make social polarization increase and political situation worsen. In fact, these acts can be seen as an attempted color revolution aimed at deteriorating ties with the Russian Federation.
The resume of hostilities with Russia is a NATO plan for Georgia. The Atlantic alliance wants to use Georgia as a kind of “new Ukraine”, promoting a suicidal war with Russia by attacking the separatist republics in the north. With this, it would be possible to open a new flank against Moscow at this critical moment in which Ukraine is very close to absolute military collapse.
Just like Ukraine, pro-Western countries outside NATO such as Georgia and Moldova are encouraged by the alliance to go to war with Russia. Unable to defeat Moscow on the battlefield, Western powers want to open as many fronts as possible through proxy conflicts, in which the “allies” are induced to face Russian forces to protect NATO’s interests.
Zourabichvili and other pro-NATO Georgian politicians work to make Western plans successful. What they want is simply to engage the country in a suicidal anti-Russian campaign, which would culminate in the resurgence of war in Abkhazia and South Ossetia. To prevent this, several patriotic politicians are working intensely, trying to keep Georgia neutral in the current tensions.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, for example, was largely responsible for the approval of the NGO bill in the parliament. He and his supporters are not “pro-Russian”, they just want to free Georgia from an unnecessary conflict with Moscow. Under these circumstances, Georgian politics is currently polarized between the head of parliament and his allies, who defend a sovereign foreign policy, and the president and her supporters, who publicly work for European interests.
Georgian President Zurabishvili called on Macron to come to help her “free the country from the Soviet yoke” - La Tribune de Dimanche
“This is not only about Georgia, it is about ridding the Caucasus once and for all from the Soviet yoke and Russian influence. Nobody here wants confrontation with Russia. This is very important for the future of Europe, including the security of Europe. Here is the Black Sea, an energy and transport transit zone. The fact that France is not present here is absurd. I talk about this very transparently. I wrote to President Macron and am waiting for him on Georgian Independence Day, May 26,”
- native of France Zurabishvili said in an interview with a French publication.
⚡️ 🇹🇷 The Ankara prosecutor's office is investigating a possible conspiracy against the government, the Hürriyet newspaper writes.
At night, Erdogan held an emergency meeting after warning about a possible coup attempt being prepared in the ranks of law enforcement agencies.
🇪🇺 Yesterday in Brussels, without much fanfare, the “Pact on Migration and Asylum” was adopted, according to which each EU member state is obliged to accept illegal migrants for residence in accordance with quotas.
Quotas will be set by European bureaucrats. The minimum initial quota is 30 thousand migrants per year.
If some countries (🇵🇱Poland, 🇭🇺Hungary, 🇸🇰Slovakia) do not want to accept illegal migrants, then they will be required to pay 20 thousand euros for each person not accepted, which will amount to 600 million euros per year for 30 thousand people. And this is just the beginning - what will prevent them from subsequently increasing the quota?

The failed Congo coup leader had links to the Israeli military

The ICC issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Gallant, as well as Hamas leadership, for various war crimes and crimes against humanity.
However, keep in mind the ICC’s “authority” is largely ignored.

US House Speaker Mike Johnson called on the Biden administration to "immediately demand the dissolution of the ICC."
Otherwise, according to him, the ICC “will become the owner of unprecedented power” and will then begin issuing arrest warrants for “American politicians, diplomats and military personnel.”
At the same time, last year both Congress and the White House welcomed the issuance of an arrest warrant by the ICC for Russian President Vladimir Putin. Biden said at the time that the warrant was “justified.” And at the end of 2022, Congress passed a law allowing ICC officials to conduct “investigative activities” in the United States, but only “related” to Ukraine, although Russia, like Israel and the United States, are not state parties to this court and do not recognize its jurisdiction .
🇺🇲🇺🇳 US authorities may be the next to receive an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court after the Israeli leadership, said Senator Lindsey Graham.
This is how he justified the need to introduce sanctions against the ICC in the near future.
"I hope we can find a way together to calm our dissatisfaction with the ICC. Because if they're doing this to Israel, then we're next. So at the end of the day, I hope what happens is that we impose sanctions on the ICC for this outrage so that we don't not only to help our friends in Israel, but also to protect ourselves in the future," Graham said.
🇺🇸 🇮🇱 🇺🇳 The US Congress is considering the possibility of imposing sanctions against the ICC if an arrest warrant is issued for Netanyahu.
This is stated in a statement released by Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson.

🇮🇱🇵🇸 Only 30-35% of Hamas fighters have been killed and the same percentage of its underground tunnels have been destroyed by Israel in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war.
Politico writes about this, citing US intelligence data.
And since the start of the war, Hamas has also been able to recruit thousands of new fighters, which is why senior American officials publicly call Israel's strategy in Gaza self-destructive. They fear that Israel is "catastrophically missing" an opportunity to defeat Hamas.
Secretary of State Blinken said a possible Israeli troop withdrawal could leave "a vacuum that will likely be filled by chaos, anarchy and, ultimately, Hamas again."
The Americans shared with Israel their bad experiences from Iraq, when an insurgency grew out of the failed American occupation, but Israel did not heed these warnings.

The Israelis and the US Intelligence agencies had many:
1) The humiliation of Israel in battle. They couldn’t hit Natanz so they hit the president of Iran. It is largely psychological and designed to instill fear in opponents world wide.
2) Assassination is a currently actively used tool of the CIA/MOSSAD.
See the Slovak president Fico's assassination attempt, Several Russia assassinations on journalists, The rumored attempt on MBS of Saudi Arabia ... (See our last week's rather prescient post etc..) Assassination is war by other means than the military. They are losing badly on the battlefield in Ukraine and Israel.
2) The military assistance and trade between Iran and Russia.
3) Iran is actively funding and providing military assistance to the Houthis, Hezbollah, and Hamas.
The BRICS currency has been worked on publicly for years now. They could have hit Iran any time in the last few years if this was the primary motivation.
Zelensky was no longer the legitimate president of Ukraine as of yesterday.
Vladimir Zelensky's term officially expired today. He claims his mandate is basically infinite because martial law. The Ukrainian constitutional court has explicitly ruled otherwise. But of course, the "rules-based order defenders of democracy" are silent on this, because it doesn't fit their Narrative.
He's an usurper ruling a fake state.
🇺🇦 Ukrainians demand that Zelensky be served with a subpoena, since he is no longer a legitimate president.
- "Now some Americans might say that Zelensky is illegitimate bc Ukraine hasn’t held a real election since 2019 but then again we haven’t held once since 2016." - Poso
A very curious situation arose yesterday in the Verkhovna Rada: in order to create the appearance of at least some kind of opposition, Poroshenko’s party blocked the tribune of the Rada demanding the impeachment of Zelensky, the ban of the UOC church and an investigation into the theft of funds allocated for the construction of fortifications in the Kharkov region.
– A financial group that includes giants BlackRock and Pimco hired debt collectors to collect debt from Ukraine – Myśl Polska
🇺🇦💵 The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reported that in 2024 Ukraine must pay 1 trillion hryvnia on the national debt ($25 billion). But that's not all. The ministry predicted payments until 2050.
In total, over the next 26 years, Ukraine must pay off debts worth 8.5 trillion hryvnia ($214 billion). And all this does not include loans that will have to be taken out in the future, and also does not include private sector debt and government-guaranteed debt. Also, the calculation is carried out at the current hryvnia exchange rate, and debts are in foreign currency.

As Russia Advances, NATO Considers Sending Trainers Into Ukraine | NYT
📝 Patrick Fox: "This type of military incrementalism is how nations walk themselves into wars. If Gen. Brown's instincts are correct here, it's the wedge to force direct NATO involvement."
"Remember when I told you all the other day the West doesn't have a plan? This is the kind of thing I'm talking about. If NATO is going to involve itself in the Russo-Ukrainian War, that is the last type of decision that should be made in fits and starts. It should be deliberate; done with a clear understanding of methods, means, and objectives involved."
"There are ways NATO could involve itself more seriously in Ukraine, I've written about them. Doing it haphazardly is a recipe for disaster."
"It's not like we haven't seen this before either:
"Non-Combat" Trainers leads to;
Trainers actually in combat leads to;
Aircraft to support trainers & the units they're attached to leads to;
Security formations to protect the bases the aircraft supporting the trainers operate from leads to;
Full blown US combat operations in country."
"While the circumstances are certainly not 1-to-1 in the above example and I'm abbreviating the sequence of events significantly - the parallels are becoming uncomfortably similar. This is also an example of why I so consistently harp on studying history. Understand what happened before and you'll have a better handle on what comes next."
"Yes, I just described, again in a very truncated fashion, US involvement escalation in Vietnam."
🇺🇦 Zelensky feels that he is “not being told the whole truth” about the situation near Kharkov and is “screaming at his generals,” The Economist writes, citing a source in the Ukrainian government.
The Ukrainian military directly speaks about this.
“Zelensky is being kept in a warm bath. We believe that the president should focus on the situation on the ground, and not imitate Putin, a man whose life revolves around the papers that his assistants bring him,” said Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Denis Yaroslavsky.
According to The Economist, many soldiers in Kharkov are "outraged" that Russia was able to advance so far and so quickly. Some have criticized delays in Western aid. Others suspect that "incompetence or even betrayal" played a more significant role.
“Conspiracy theories are also emerging that politicians in Kiev or Washington are selling out Kharkov in anticipation of an ugly peace agreement. Official Ukrainian narratives, presenting a rosy picture, do not help calm nerves,” the publication writes.
