Durov rips EU over censorship on tech platforms
The EU deliberately imposes rules which are impossible to follow so it can then “punish tech firms that refuse to silently censor free speech,” the Telegram CEO wrote.
That was Durov’s response to an old post by Elon Musk on an “illegal secret deal” that the European Commission reportedly offered X, promising not to fine the company if it “quietly censored speech without telling anyone.”

Musk called the fine “bull***,” saying “freedom of speech is the bedrock [of] democracy” and “the only way of knowing what you are voting for.”

The Israeli cabinet has allocated a massive 2.35 billion shekels (almost $729 million) to “public diplomacy” in its next budget, constituting a sharp, almost five-fold hike in spending on fixing the country’s heavily dented image.
Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar announced a new Public Diplomacy Division in his ministry on Sunday at a conference in Jerusalem. The move constitutes a “significant strategic decision,” the top diplomat stated, adding that “when public opinion shifts toward an anti-Israeli stance” in a third country, it can “promptly impact government actions.”
“The second decision is the approval of a budget of 2.35 billion shekels (of which one billion shekels is authorized) for the battle for public awareness and the promotion of Israel’s image worldwide. The concept that the battle for public awareness is part of national security was fundamental to this decision,” he said.
Last year, Israel allocated some $150 million to public diplomacy – 20 times more than what was spent on average over the previous years.

The entire routine is clearly an intimidation ritual designed to silence good-faith critics of America’s “alliance” with its “special partner” in the Middle East. The Israel shills know their argument that the U.S. must unconditionally support their favorite little country is indefensible, so instead of trying to defend it, they smear their detractors in a desperate attempt to maintain control.
But surely their bigotry accusations are valid some of the time, right? Take the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act. Any member of Congress who would vote against such a proposal must definitely hate the Jews. How could there be any other explanation? If you watched Sunday’s episode of 60 Minutes, you’d probably think it was that simple. But it isn’t.
“Why did you vote against the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act?” Lesley Stahl asked Marjorie Taylor Greene. “Is there no value in having the United States Congress reaffirm the fact that they denounce antisemitism?”
What Stahl and the rest of CBS News failed to mention, which not-so-coincidentally falls under Zionist fanatic Bari Weiss’s control, is that the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act was not really about stopping antisemitism. The legislation’s true goal was to prohibit Americans from levying reasonable criticisms of the foreign government of Israel; criticisms that they’re free to issue against China, Russia, or England, but for some reason must never utter about the Israelis.
Don’t believe us? Here’s what was in the bill, which describes “forms of discrimination rooted in antisemitism” as “prohibited,” pasted directly from Congress.gov.
“For purposes of this Act, the term ‘definition of antisemitism’ — (1) means the definition of antisemitism adopted on May 26, 2016, by the [International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance].”
Okay, so what’s in the IHRA’s definition? Therein lies the problem. The following acts are labeled as “examples of antisemitism” on the group’s website:
Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.
Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.
Accusing the Jews as a people, or Israel as a state, of inventing or exaggerating the Holocaust.
Let’s start with the first one.
A few months ago, a lifelong Jewish friend started a conversation with us about our stance on the Middle East. During the friendly exchange, he told us that the United States government should care more about serving Israel than stopping America’s fentanyl crisis. That is not a misinterpretation or exaggeration. He plainly said it.
Concluding that someone with that stance is more loyal to Israel than America is the only logical response. According to the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act, saying that out loud should be outlawed.
Now the second. Thou shalt not compare the Israeli government to Nazis.
But what if they talk and act exactly like the Third Reich? The recent documentary, Breaking Ranks: Inside Israel’s War, quotes an IDF commander saying, “In the current political climate, in the state of Israel, there is no value to any human life that is not Israeli, or better still, Jewish Israeli.”
That is obvious Nazi talk. No human is inherently more valuable than another because of their identity. God created everyone in His image. If the Israeli military believes otherwise, then comparing them to another group that held their stance, the Nazis, is entirely reasonable.
Last but not least: Holocaust denial.
We’re not defending the Holocaust deniers, and much to the doubtless chagrin of this newsletter’s hate readers, we’ve never crossed that bridge. But should doing so really be forbidden? Human history is filled with genocides. Cambodia. Armenia. Rwanda. Mao’s China. No reasonable person would say that questioning those crises’ official narratives should be banned, so why is the Holocaust any different? Because Jews are “more important” than the other victims? We’re Christians; we don’t believe in that.
No matter what Ben Shapiro, Congress, or members of Benjamin Netanyahu’s $7,000 club say, none of the bullet points listed above are actually inherently antisemitic. Like much else related to this topic, describing them as so is part of a carefully orchestrated ploy.
Marjorie Taylor Greene votes against the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act, which exists to crush dissent, destroy free speech, and smear good people as bigots. As a result, she herself gets labeled an antisemite. And around and around we go.
Free thinkers like MTG speaking loudly and without fear is our country’s only hope of escaping this venomous cycle. The antisemite game has served as the establishment’s most effective vessel for cancel culture for decades, destroying the careers of anyone who earnestly seeks to put America First. It can’t go on any longer.
Ridiculous bills like the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act should serve as a litmus test. Lawmakers who support them are not serious about defending Americanism, civil liberties, or the Bill of Rights. The legislation’s purpose was not to protect marginalized people; it was to crush criticism of a foreign regime. That cannot stand.
