The Clackamas County Board of Commissioners held an emergency meeting where they were told about staging of gas cans by Antifa, and chain saws to fell power/telephone poles to start new fires. One said they must call in the National Guard. “A deliberate attack…”. "Reliable sources"….

A suspect arrested for starting a brush fire was released and then arrested again after he started 6 more small fires.

On Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 4:35p.m., East Precinct officers were dispatched to assist Portland Fire and Rescue with a brush fire in the 9600 block of East Burnside Street. Officers saw that a section of grass along the I-205 freeway was burning. Firefighters extinguished the fire. About an hour later, East officers were flagged down by a witness who pointed out the suspect in a nearby tent. Officers arrested the suspect, who confirmed he lit the fire with the device.

Officers seized a plastic bottle with a wick as evidence.

On Monday, September 14, 2020 at 3:37a.m., East Precinct officers were dispatched with Portland Fire and Rescue to a report of multiple fires burning along the west side of the I-205 freeway. Portland Fire and Rescue extinguished three of them while passing community members put out the other three. All were caught early. No one was injured and no structures were burnt. Officers located Domingo Lopez, Junior walking along the shoulder and arrested him. They seized a lighter as evidence.

Officers booked Domingo Lopez Jr., 45, into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of Reckless Burning and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree. Arson investigators are also doing follow-up to see if other charges are warranted.

Facebook has announced that it will be wiping messages alleging that wildfires, which have been sweeping through Oregon, might be the work of certain groups after the FBI brushed off reports of arson as “conspiracy theories.”

“We are removing false claims that the wildfires in Oregon were started by certain groups,” Andy Stone, policy communications manager at Facebook, tweeted late on Saturday.

Facebook and the FBI have unleashed an infowar to make sure no left-leaning groups are blamed for the wildfires in the western US, this allows the liberal media to preserve the narrative that wildfires are a result of "climate damn emergencies" (...and not due to environmentalism's impact on forest management).

Then yesterday the Fire Marshall of Oregon is suddenly fired by Democrat Governor Brown and replaced by a 26 year old Latina. The Fire Marshal would know what the investigators have found. He was suddenly and for a lame reason canned:

Walker spoke with KOIN 6 News Saturday evening during which he said he was placed on leave by OSP Superintendent Travis Hampton after trying to help a co-worker whose family was missing in a fire zone.

“I did so with the specific understanding that my visit had been cleared with the appropriate team personnel,” said Walker. He said after, Hampton’s assessment was that he had overstepped his role and took action without the authority to do so.

“And although I’m losing my job because of it, I would do it again,” said Walker. He said he was an at-will employee, so he could “be dismissed for any reason whatsoever.”

“I didn’t do anything wrong that would lead to me resigning,” said Walker. “My take is, if I don’t have confidence from management, then it’s not an agency I want to continue to work for.” He said it was a difficult decision to make at this particular time as wildfires grip the state. Walker has worked for the State Fire Marshal’s Office since 2009.

“To come into the office on a Friday thinking you were doing the right thing—I care about my employees—and then to be put on administrative leave when we have catastrophic fires, which I’ve been actively involved with…so for me to be put on administrative leave when I’m the highest level fire official in the state does not make any sense at all to me, whatsoever,” said Walker.

Chief Deputy State Fire Marshal Mariana Ruiz-Temple has been the Deputy Fire Marshal and been in charge for the last several days. I have full and complete confidence in her ability to lead the Fire Marshals Office and lead the proactive response to this fire. Wyatte Tofte, 12, was found dead alongside his dog as wildfires swept through Oregon. A 12-year-old boy was found dead Wednesday alongside his dog after wildfires swept through towns near Lyons, Oregon.

The boy, Wyatte Tofte, reportedly ran from his home as flames approached. His body was found next to his dog's body after the fire had burned through the area. Wyatte's grandmother, Peggy Mosso, also died in the fire Wednesday.

An arsonist caught in the act was the same guy who just happened to be at the Ferguson protest in Missouri. We already know someone is paying to transport instigators around the country. So is this guy also paid to come burn down the Pacific Northwest? Police said on Twitter that he was caught starting a fire and Acord said he happened upon the fire while looking for a lost camera. He was previously arrested during a Ferguson protest in 2014 and he recently posted on social media about supporting Black Lives Matter, but not supporting looting and hurting local businesses. Paul the Engineer suggests taking high quality air filters and taping them to box fans to remove additional particles. It seems to work. Using blue tape to seal small leaks around windows and doors is also helpful. I would also suggest drinking diluted Vitamin C and doing saline nasal rinses and nasal gels. A humidifier is also a great help.

Stay safe. This too shall pass, although the Antifa are showing signs of setting more fires. With the increased vigilance and improved weather conditions, they are not having as much luck. See the Live Maps above for the numerous new fires in strange places, but conveniently located near roads.
