Attorney General William Barr on Thursday reinstated the federal death penalty, which lapsed 20 years ago, and immediately scheduled executions for five federal death row inmates convicted of murdering children and the elderly, while promising more to come.
According to a Justice Department announcement, Barr directed Hugh Hurwitz, the acting director of the Bureau of Prisons, to adopt the revision to the Federal Execution Protocol, a maneuver that “[clears] the way for the federal government to resume capital punishment after a nearly two decade lapse, and bringing justice to victims of the most horrific crimes.”

Epstein and Raniere are in the same prison, and both have been injured:

"The men are both being housed at the facility's Special Housing Unit (SHU) in the 9-South wing.
Epstein was housed in the most secure area of the prison, 10 South, when he was first arrested earlier this month. Inmates there are kept in their cells for 23 hours each day, and CCTV cameras watch them as they shower, go to the bathroom and sit alone in their heavily barricaded cells.
On Friday the decision was made to put him in with the general population after he was denied bail in his case. This backfired almost immediately, and after threats were made to Epstein he was moved into the SHU, which means he is alone in his cell but can interact with other prisoners during the day.

The confiscation of the cellphone was first revealed Friday in a letter from Tartaglione’s lawyer, Bruce Barket, to U.S. District Judge Kenneth Karas, expressing concern that privileged material could be on the phone and asking that the federal prosecutors on the case not have access to it.

Possibilities that have been raised:
Epstein was strangled by Tartaglione, who was arranged to do it by someone on the contraband phone.
Epstein did it to himself to try to get out of that hellhole.
Epstein had enhanced interrogation, perhaps with memory wiping drugs and suffered physical and mental effects.
Epstein was put in harm’s way without special favors as an incentive to get him to turn state’s evidence.
Rumor has it that if a person in prison is slated for murder, it happens. Epstein would not likely have survived a mere attempt.
Was there any connection to the unprecedented power blackout that covered Manhattan including the jail?

They would claim to be a modeling agency. In this case one called MC2 which was based in New York and Tel Aviv. They would approach some young girl, tell her she would be a great model, and induct her into their modeling agency. They would have her fill out an extensive background form, and spot ones that were isolated, insecure, and loners. They took pictures which went into a agency book to be shown to “clients” to pick from. These selected ones expected to be successful models for a lot of money, and allowed themselves to be put in situations where the agency had control. The agency then transported and used them in perverted ways. (There is evidence the foster care system was sometimes abused in this way as well.)
