👤 Pentagon to present Anthropic CEO with ultimatum: give us total control or you’re fired
Pete Hegseth and Anthropic’s Dario Amodei will meet early Tuesday to discuss the company’s AI mass surveillance and autonomous weapons use guardrails.
“Anthropic knows this is not a get-to-know-you meeting,” a senior Pentagon official told Axios.
“This is not a friendly meeting. This is a sh*t or get off the pot meeting,” they said, alluding to the potential axing of Anthropic’s $200M contract with the military by declaring it a “supply chain risk.”
