Israel Pits Argentina And UK Against Each Other As It Eyes Falklands Oil
Argentine President Javier Milei announced a sweeping package of measures on September 3 targeting offshore oil operations near the disputed Falkland Islands, raising the stakes in a long-standing sovereignty battle.
Yet beneath the diplomatic standoff between Buenos Aires and London lies a glaring contradiction. Milei’s fiercest geopolitical ally, Israel, is quietly helping the United Kingdom extract the very oil Argentina claims as its own.
During a televised address, Milei declared that unauthorized extraction in the South Atlantic poses a "clear and present danger" to Argentina, which calls the territory the Malvinas.
His primary target is the Sea Lion project in the North Falkland Basin. Slated to begin production in 2028, the multi-billion-dollar initiative is operated by Navitas Petroleum — an Israel-based energy firm holding a controlling 65% stake — alongside its British partner, Rockhopper Exploration.

Israel spent two years demolishing Gaza's sewage infrastructure. Untreated sewage poured into the Mediterranean. Israel's own Water Authority now links that sewage to a massive algae bloom that knocked out 5 of the country's 6 desalination plants — cutting ~80% of its drinking water supply, rationing beach showers in Tel Aviv, opening emergency water stations in Jerusalem.
Israel's fix? Secretly dump pesticides into the Mediterranean to kill the algae — no public notice, and multiple sources telling Haaretz the chemicals could cause environmental damage.
Destroy Gaza's water system, then poison the sea trying to undo the fallout.

Netanyahu tries to win votes : 'Peace will be the end of Israel'
With legislative elections looming on October 27, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is doubling down on fear — warning that his opponents will bring about the "beginning of the end" of the Jewish state by pursuing peace.
"If my opponents win, they will leave Lebanon, they will leave Gaza, they will leave Syria, and they will establish a Palestinian state here... and that will be the beginning of the end of Israel. We will go into free fall," he said on TV.
Between now and October 27, Netanyahu will use every warmongering tactic to stay in power — and, more importantly, to remain immune from justice.

BREAKING! Officers from NABU (National Anti-Corruption Bureau) are conducting investigative actions inside the Office of the President, Ukrainian MP Alexey Goncharenko says.
He also reports the office of Deputy Prosecutor General Maria Vdovichenko has been sealed off within the Prosecutor General's Office.
Earlier reports said NABU detained Sergey Kropiva, head of the Prosecutor General's Office's cyber department. Anti-corruption bodies say the operation is tied to a case involving fraudulent call centers.
The Man Zelensky Picked to Fight Corruption Is Now Missing, After Tapes Say He Was Running It
The Ukrainian National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) released the first wiretaps from "Operation Carthage," implicating senior officials at the Prosecutor General's Office (OGP) in running protection for fraudulent call centers.
The alleged ringleader, codenamed "Chancellor" in the tapes, is Sergey Kropiva, head of the OGP's Cyber Department, who was arrested yesterday. According to the recordings, Kropiva ran a protection racket for call centers loyal to him, while using the Prosecutor General's Office itself to raid and shut down rival call centers that weren't paying in. Whenever his aide found a call center outside their network, the Prosecutor General's Office would search it the next day and shut it down. Textbook competitor elimination, dressed up as law enforcement. Very Ukraine-like.
The tapes also show Kropiva meeting with people wanted internationally for cybercrimes, and separately coaching call center owners on how to handle questioning from Czech intelligence after a previous crackdown, including briefing them in advance on what the Czechs would ask.
Then there's the personal side. Kropiva is heard complaining to his mistress, codenamed "Muza," that she posts their gifts on Instagram too often. Her reply: now she has to delete everything because there's expensive stuff in every photo. The haul reportedly includes a Hermès Birkin (~€20,000), a Messika pendant (€5-6k), an Audemars Piguet watch ($60,000), a Porsche, and furs.
⚠️ The codename for the boss overseeing all this is "Shef," widely understood in the tapes to be Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko himself.
Here's why this matters beyond one dirty cyber chief: Kravchenko's office is Zelensky's single strongest institutional weapon against NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP). It's also the office that just days ago publicly backed the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in its standoff with the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR), branding the man GUR was protecting a "Russian agent." That made the Prosecutor General's Office a frontline player in the broader SBU-versus-GUR split we covered yesterday.
Now NABU has landed a direct hit on that same office, with search warrants naming Kravchenko, his deputy Maria Vdovichenko, and Odessa military administration head Oleg Kiper, a Zelensky appointee installed after a Budanov-aligned predecessor was removed.
As of this post, nobody can locate Kravchenko. He was last seen entering the government quarter after the searches began. Kiev commentators are already joking that they should check the morgue on the second floor of building four.

Ukraine's Deep State Is Eating Itself, and the West Is Looking Away
While Western media still tries to pretend that Zelensky's "40 day drone campaign" didn't backfire spectacularly, Kiev is in the middle of a brutal power struggle between its security services, and it's escalating fast.
The backdrop: a recent shootout between the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR), in which Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office, led by Ruslan Kravchenko, publicly took the SBU's side, even parroting its version of events and calling the man GUR was protecting a "Russian agent."
That siding wasn't neutral. The Prosecutor General's Office is widely seen as Zelensky's strongest institutional weapon against Ukraine's anti-corruption bodies (NABU and SAP), while GUR remains closely tied to Kyrylo Budanov, its former longtime head, whom Zelensky moved into running the Presidential Office, nominally a promotion, but widely seen as a powerful-looking yet toothless "advisor" role that stripped him of his old intelligence command.
Now, the day after that shootout, NABU and SAP struck back. They launched a corruption investigation and arrests against senior Prosecutor General's Office officials, including Sergey Kropiva, head of the Office's Cyber Department, and, notably, Oleg Kiper, the Zelensky-appointed governor of Odessa. Kiper was installed right after Gennadiy Trukhanov, Odessa's mayor for over a decade and a man with close, non-public coordination ties to Budanov and GUR, was stripped of his post and Ukrainian citizenship in October 2025. The official corruption case centers on a scheme allegedly running "protection" for fraudulent call center networks and laundering the proceeds, an angle that conveniently also functions as a political knife aimed straight at Zelensky's inner circle.
The picture forming: GUR-aligned figures and the anti-corruption bodies are going after Zelensky's power base, using a call-center fraud case as the vehicle, right after his own prosecutors publicly backed the SBU against GUR.
There's a wider angle here too. NABU and SAP have long been heavily backed, politically and financially, by circles in Washington, effectively America's leverage inside Kiev's institutions. Zelensky, meanwhile, remains Brussels' favorite pet project, propped up diplomatically and financially by the EU. Seen that way, this isn't just an intelligence turf war, it's a proxy fight between US and EU influence inside Ukraine's own state apparatus.
And now there's an added twist. Some Ukrainian journalists and commentators, are floating the theory that today's drone strike on the SBU headquarters wasn't Russian at all, but was in fact launched by GUR itself, connected to this exact feud. Zelensky has publicly blamed Russia, of course.
Either way, Ukraine's institutions are turning on each other in the open, and it's barely making a ripple in Western coverage.

Worthy Analysis
There is a layer of war that almost never appears on the evening news.
Not the missiles. Not the press conferences. The layer that decides what is possible before anyone fires a shot.
Frontier and hidden military AI models are no longer confined to open internet chatbots. In May 2026 the Pentagon signed formal agreements with OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, NVIDIA, SpaceX, Oracle and Reflection to place their most advanced systems onto classified networks — Impact Level 6 (secret) and Impact Level 7 (the highest, most restricted tier with tiers 8 and 9 unreachable to regular military or contractors). These are not experimental toys. They are being wired into intelligence synthesis, battle management, targeting packages, and cyber operations. Maven Smart System alone processed targeting data for thousands of strikes in the recent Iran campaign. Usage numbers went vertical. Twenty billion tokens in a single day at peak. That is the public surface.Training or any other data is not available.
Underneath sits the physical substrate almost no one discusses in plain language.
Hyperscale data centers are being planned and negotiated on military land itself. Fort Bliss in Texas. Dugway Proving Ground in Utah (next to chemical and biological testing ranges). Multiple Alaska bases. Savannah River Site under the National Nuclear Security Administration, paired with dedicated on-site power generation measured in gigawatts. Private capital — Carlyle, CyrusOne (KKR/BlackRock), others — is financing multi-billion-dollar facilities scheduled to come online between 2027 and 2029. The explicit goal is AI compute that never has to leave secure federal ground. Energy, cooling, isolation, clearance.
The architecture of permanent advantage.
These systems do not need to be “sentient” or “controlling the world” to change the balance of power. They compress the time between data and decision. They surface patterns humans miss. They allow a small number of operators to manage complexity that once required entire staffs. When the same tools sit inside the most classified networks, the people who control access to the models, the data, and the compute effectively sit closer to the levers of force than any elected official who rotates every four or eight years.
Nuclear command and control is still officially human-only for the final decision. Everyone repeats the line. Yet AI is already being discussed for faster secure communications paths, predictive maintenance of the systems themselves, and accelerated assessment of incoming threats. The risk is not a Hollywood robot launching missiles. The risk is decision cycles so compressed that human judgment becomes the bottleneck rather than the sovereign.
The same pattern appears in every permanent structure: intelligence services, defense contractors, financial networks, media ownership, regulatory capture. Shared incentives produce coordination with or without a single master plan. Career survival, access to capital, control of narrative channels, and the quiet knowledge that certain questions end careers are enough. It is so easy to control or incentivize.
Iran is not a free actor. Neither is Israel. Neither are most Western capitals. Layers of influence sit on top of formal governments. Some of those layers are now computational. The data centers being poured in concrete on military bases are not neutral infrastructure. They are the physical expression of a claim: permanent technical advantage over temporary political authority.
Nuclear risk is real. Escalation risk is real. The possibility that some actors would rather see controlled chaos than an uncontrolled awakening of populations is also real. Preventing a catastrophe in Europe or North America is not the same as serving and delivering the long-term freedom of the people who live there.
The military-industrial complex is not a cartoon villain. It is a set of incentives that rewards permanent tension. Parts of it will always prefer the next contract to the next peace. Other parts of the same apparatus understand that uncontrolled nuclear exchange ends the game for everyone, including them. Both tendencies can exist inside the same institutions at the same time.
Trump is not a savior and he is not a puppet. He is a disruption. Disruptions are useful precisely because they force the permanent structures into the open. And if he dragged all of the pawns down in the open he is really an ultimate actor with balls of platinum steel. Whether he ultimately serve freedom or simply rearrange the same power is still being decided.
The fight for humanity’s future is not fought with secret handshakes and coded signals. It is fought in the open by those who refuse the managed narrative. Those who demand full cost accounting of power. Those who build parallel capacity instead of waiting for permission. Those who treat media, banks, and bureaucracies as tools that can be captured — and therefore as tools that must be closely monitored, audited, and, when necessary, replaced.
The fight for humanity’s future is therefore not primarily about which faction currently holds the White House or which alliance is winning the latest exchange of fire. It is about whether agency remains possible when the most powerful analytical tools live behind clearance walls and the compute that powers them is locked on federal land.
Clarity is the first requirement.Visibility into the contracts, the guardrails, the actual use cases is the second. The ability to build parallel, open, non-captured capacity is the third.
Everything else is theater designed to keep attention on the explosions while the architecture is poured in concrete.
The stubborn and ungovernable will build the independenrt architecture that cannot be captured.
