Israel threatens to drag us into WW3 in the Middle East
Israel is preparing to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities, according to a leak to CNN.
CNN reported on Tuesday that the United States obtained new intel suggesting Israel is currently planning on striking Iran’s nuclear and uranium enrichment facilities.
No final decision has been made, according to CNN.

The US has obtained new intelligence suggesting that Israel is making preparations to strike Iranian nuclear facilities, even as the Trump administration has been pursuing a diplomatic deal with Tehran, multiple US officials familiar with the latest intelligence told CNN.Such a strike would be a brazen break with President Donald Trump, US officials said. It could also risk tipping off a broader regional conflict in the Middle East — something the US has sought to avoid since the war in Gaza inflamed tensions beginning in 2023.
Officials caution it’s not clear that Israeli leaders have made a final decision, and that in fact, there is deep disagreement within the US government about the likelihood that Israel will ultimately act. Whether and how Israel strikes will likely depend on what it thinks of the US negotiations with Tehran over its nuclear program.
But “the chance of an Israeli strike on an Iranian nuclear facility has gone up significantly in recent months,” said another person familiar with US intelligence on the issue. “And the prospect of a Trump-negotiated US-Iran deal that doesn’t remove all of Iran’s uranium makes the chance of a strike more likely.”
President Donald Trump reportedly grew “upset” after seeing images of Gazan children and babies, and is privately urging Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to bring his country’s military campaign in Gaza to an end, according to senior White House officials.
Trump was especially disturbed by images of Palestinian children wounded or killed in airstrikes, officials told Axios, and pressed Israeli leadership to resume humanitarian aid. That pressure reportedly played a role in Israel’s Sunday cabinet decision to allow limited supplies, including baby food and other essentials, back into the territory.
“The president is frustrated about what is happening in Gaza,” one official said. “He wants the war to end, he wants the hostages to come home, he wants aid to go in and he wants to start rebuilding Gaza.”

Iran mulls nuclear deal with Arab states and US

President Donald Trump made South African President Cyril Ramaphosa visibly uncomfortable during an Oval Office meeting Wednesday by showing a video compilation of officials from his nation calling for the death of white Afrikaner farmers and for their land to be taken.
In February, Trump issued an executive order establishing a special refugee status for Afrikaners, who are victims of unjust racial discrimination, including threats of violence and land confiscation.
During the Oval Office meeting, Ramaphosa denied that there is a genocide taking place in his country directed at white farmers.
Trump responded, “We have thousands of stories talking about it. And we have documentaries. We have news stories.”
“Turn the lights down and just put this on. It’s right behind you,” he said to Ramaphosa.
South African politician Julius Malema came on the screen, calling for the confiscation of land and the murder of Afrikaners. “A revolution demands, at some point, there must be killing,” he said.
“Shoot to kill, kill the Boer, the farmer,” Malema chanted before a cheering crowd in a stadium.
Trump pointed to the screen at one point, indicating footage he said showed crosses depicting approximately 1,000 white farmers who have been killed.
Ramaphosa responded to the video, saying, “I’d like to know where it is, because this I have never seen.”
Trump also held up articles he said were from the last few days in South Africa reporting on the deaths of people.
“Death, death, death, horrible death,” the president said as he leafed through them.
Referring back to the video, Trump said, “These are people that are officials, and they’re saying, ‘Kill the white farmer and take their land.'”
