- IWOARG is underway en route to SOUTHCOM: USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) + USS Fort Lauderdale (LPD 28) left Norfolk yesterday; USS San Antonio (LPD 17) departed today
- USS Gravely (DDG 107), USS Jason Dunham (DDG 109), and USS Minneapolis-St. Paul (LCS 21) are on station in the Caribbean; USS Sampson (DDG 102) is still south of Panama
- The fast attack sub remains unidentified, but several have been active off the east coast in August

🇺🇸🚤🇻🇪 U.S. Escalates Caribbean Military Buildup
Reuters reports the U.S. has ordered the deployment of USS Lake Erie (guided-missile cruiser) and USS Newport News (nuclear attack sub) to the southern Caribbean as early as next week.
The move follows last week’s deployment of an amphibious assault group including USS San Antonio, USS Iwo Jima, and USS Fort Lauderdale, carrying 4,500 troops, including 2,200 Marines, off Venezuela’s coast.
The official pretext is combating “narcoterrorist organizations.”
President Nicolás Maduro responded by mobilizing 4.5 million militia members nationwide, with two more national enlistment drills announced this week.

"They agreed to hold elections, but the elections were completely fake. They used migration against us to obtain those concessions, and now they have these general licenses where companies like Chevron are pouring billions of dollars into the regime's coffers, and the regime has not kept any of the promises it made," stated the Secretary of State.
"All of this needs to be revisited because there is a Russian presence in Venezuela and a very strong Iranian presence; in fact, the Iranians are exploring or starting to build drone factories for the production of Iranian drones right here in our own hemisphere," he emphasized.
“We cannot ignore the long-standing practice of the Venezuelan regime granting real but illegitimate passports to Hezbollah operatives in our own hemisphere,” Rubio stressed.
"Our priority is to protect the United States and the entire Western Hemisphere. We cannot allow dictatorships supported by hostile regimes to turn Latin America into an operational hub against our nation," he declared.

Mexican Officials in Danger of Being Named as Cartel Leader Pleads Guilty in US Court
Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada García, the 75-year-old co-founder of the Sinaloa Cartel, pleaded guilty in U.S. court to charges including leading a criminal enterprise, racketeering, drug trafficking, and money laundering. He admitted to bribing Mexican officials for more than fifty years, and agreed to forfeit $15 billion in assets. He now faces a mandatory life sentence without parole.
Zambada co-founded the cartel with Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán and operated with impunity since 1969. From the 1980s until last year, his organization smuggled at least 1.5 million kilograms of cocaine, most of it to the United States. His testimony could expose entrenched networks of corruption within Mexico’s political and judicial system, shaking governments past and present.

President Trump signed an executive order on Monday to pressure liberal jurisdictions across the country into ending policies like cashless bail.
The order will threaten to federally defund cities and towns that enforce these policies that are an “obvious threat to public safety,” the order states.
US GOV TAKES CONTROL OF AMTRAK STATION
The Trump administration has taken control of Washington’s Union Station, stripping management away from Amtrak.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, speaking during the debut of the NextGen Acela high-speed train, said Union Station had “fallen into disrepair” and must be restored as a “point of pride” and made “safe and beautiful.”
The Department of Transportation, through its subagency, the Federal Railroad Administration, already owns the building. The move shifts operations toward federal management, with Amtrak retaining access to passenger areas under renegotiated agreements.

Smurfing and You!
Smurfing is structured money laundering by politicians into their campaign committees, in cahoots with platforms such as Actblue and Winred & others.
Computer bots are used to steal the name, address and donor account of a citizen. We call these citizens Smurfs and they are victims. You can clearly see in the attached chart computer bots at work - this is not normal human behavior. Red line no. of contributions, green line corresponding dollar amounts.
Per the FEC if a person is donating to federal political campaigns, they average 1.4 times per year. This one Smurf's chart alone shows 12.7 times per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year....for 9.5 years!
The bots then ram through hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of contributions through a single Smurf. It is not the Smurf's money (only 1-2% of the time), but that of foreign countries and also $$ coming from the US Treasury (then NGO's, non-profits, dark money groups, off shore back on shore, etc.).
All Smurfs we've investigated are senior citizens, so in addition to money laundering, identity theft and a bunch of other federal crimes, it is also elderly financial abuse: violating the Elder Abuse Prevention and Prosecution Act (EAPPA), enacted in 2017. Plus state level law violations.
