The Israelis may stage a false flag at the World Cup. Here’s why:

The World Cup this year is expected to be the largest watched event in history.
The FIFA World Cup is the most-watched sporting event on the planet—nothing else comes close. That’s more than the Olympic Games, more than the Super Bowl, and more than any other global sporting spectacle.
With the 2026 World Cup taking place across the United States, Canada and Mexico—and featuring a record 48 teams—audience figures are expected to climb even higher. A larger field, three host nations, friendlier broadcast windows for audiences in the Americas and a growing soccer culture in the U.S. all point toward record-breaking global viewership.
Right now, the exact numbers are still speculative—but if you listen to the people running (and playing in) the sport, the 2026 World Cup is set to smash every viewership record in history.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino has already likened the tournament to having “104 Super Bowls in one month."“The Super Bowl, which is fantastic, has what, 120–130 million viewers?” Infantino told FOX Sports. “The World Cup has six billion.”
Motive:
There is the opportunity for a peace agreement with Iran. Every time we have gotten close to an agreement the Israelis have done something to scuttle it, several times just in the last year.
The reputation of Israel and Netanyahu has just been thoroughly destroyed by the leak of Trump’s cussing out Netanyahu:
"You're fucking crazy. You'd be in prison if it weren't for me. I'm saving your ass. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this," Trump told Netanyahu, according to one U.S. official's summary of the remarks.
A second source said Trump was "p---ed" and at one point shouted: "What the f--- are you doing?"
Let’s analyze this key sentence:
“You would be in prison if not for me. I’m saving your ass.”
That implies:
Trump knows full well Netanyahu is a criminal and would be convicted, but he is dealing with him anyway. Even more, Trump is keeping the criminal out of prison.
Trump is demanding loyalty above honesty.
The jig is up. This was an admission that Trump is knowingly protecting a criminal from justice. This is a disaster for Israel and for Trump.
Netanyahu has been using national security as a pretext to delay the corruption case against him, and the hearings are set to conclude around June 8th - just before the World Cup which starts June 11th.
The Israelis and Netanyahu need something big to distract people from that massive and destructive truth exposure.
Powerful Narrative value:
Remember the Olympics Munich Massacre of 1972? The Israelis can invoke the memory and images of that demonstrating a historic unbroken narrative of victimhood. The power of that narrative may be irresistible - especially given historically unprecedented huge number of people watching.
The fact that the Israelis have been committing terrible destruction in Lebanon, and were causing terror and panic in southern Beirut seriously damaged any moral standing on high ground they had. They need a powerful narrative to reset people’s minds from the atrocities they have committed.
The temptation to use the World Cup for this may be irresistible given both the image power of the Munich Massacre and the desperate need they have to get America to fight their battle with Iran. This would definitely scuttle any peace agreements in the works.
Opportunity:
Reports are that Israeli military officers are permanently settled in the Pentagon and involved in daily operations.
"Tucker Carlson reported that during Israel’s 12-day campaign against Iran in June, Israel Defense Force officials were running loose in the halls of the Pentagon and directing their American counterparts. “Ask anyone who worked at the Pentagon. They enraged American Pentagon staff by barging into meetings, giving orders, making demands, and no one did anything about it,” Carlson told Jeffrey Sachs, a Columbia University economist."
There is reason to believe that Israeli operatives could be working security for the World Cup and will be in a position to facilitate a false flag.
Evidence of past similar behavior:
Remember the attack on the USS Liberty. The Israelis claim it was an accident of mistaken identity but the evidence for this just does not fit.

It appears that the attack on the USS Liberty was intentional, premeditated, and designed to draw America into the war Israel was having against Egypt at the time.
Would the Israelis kill their own friends and allies to drag them into war? They already did.
October 7th.
There was prior warning of the Hamas attack:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admits for the first time that the staff in his military secretariat received a message the night before October 7 containing several signs indicating that Hamas was preparing for an attack.
There was a stand down order given to the border guards.
"Stand down order admitted on record. Israeli soldier testifies to Knesset committee: “We received orders from the Golani Brigade commanders on October 7 to cancel all patrols along the Gaza border from 5:20 AM until 9:00 AM.’”
Deployment of military defense was bafflingly absent from the relevant area. Was this a coincidence or something that was coordinated at the highest levels to intentionally occur for ulterior motives:
"Sources speaking with UK’s Mail on Sunday said that only two out of 32 brigades of the Israeli army were close to the Gaza border at the time of the attack.
Three battalions had been moved to the occupied West Bank on the eve of the Simchat Torah holiday, allegedly to protect Israeli settlers who wished to pray in the Palestinian village of Hawara. In March 2023, a mob of settlers invaded the town, burning cars and homes and killing one Palestinian man.
Further, the New York Times reported that large numbers of soldiers had been given leave from the Gaza border areas for the holiday.
The initial lack of resistance therefore surprised even the Hamas leadership.
Mousa Abu Marzouk of the Hamas political bureau told the New Yorker he had anticipated the Israeli military units deployed around Gaza to be “the strongest divisions, and the most trained,” with “a lot of information and fortifications,” as well as assistance from “intelligence officers who know a lot about our movements.”
But the small numbers of Israeli soldiers present on the border instead retreated in confusion as Hamas attacked. “We never expected that,” Abu Marzouk said."
…
"However, Haaretz commented further that, “It is unclear why the IDF chose to leave large and select forces for hours, at points far from the locales under attack, rather than introduce them to the scene as soon as possible.”
Israel has a long history of using their “victimhood" as a justification to destroy even their own people and their allies.
Will this history of treachery extend to this unprecedented opportunity of the World Cup? The motive and opportunity are far more compelling than situations in the past that have prompted the Israelis to sacrifice their citizens and allies for the “greater good of Israel".
The recent breakdown of ceasefire by attacking Dahiyla in violation of promises made to Trump was an act by Israel - possibly with the apparent intention to derail the imminent peace agreement. When Trump refused to retaliate along side Israel against Iran, Israel backed off and agreed to the cease fire.
If this was an attempt to derail the peace process it failed. Time for Plan B. But what is Plan B? Will a false flag on the World Cup be plan B? Or will some other unforeseen scheme be done?
It's hard to beat a false flag at the World Cup for a really powerful Plan B.
