Several ways forward here given the choice of Roberts/Barrett to nullify the 14th Amendment and extra-constitutionally replace it with their own language: 1) Nullification. States issue birth certificates, and they can just stop issuing them to non-citizens. Roberts/Barrett can deal with the fallout and litigate each birth individually. 2) Pack the court. If Robert wants to be a politician who writes laws instead of a judge, then he can fight with 10 more unelected legislators in robes. 3) Deny entry to all pregnant foreigners. 4) Deny entry to all female foreigners. 5) Require sterilization of all foreign visitors prior to entry. 6) Dissolution of the Union. A nation which can’t even restrict who gets to be a citizen isn’t a nation.
7) Amend the Constitution. This is pointless, because once a judge decides he can rewrite the Constitution at will (as Roberts and Barrett did today), the actual text is meaningless. But this is what most GOP politicians gravitate towards because they are useless.
If you think all these options are not great, understand that that is what happens when unelected judges decide that they are in charge of the country and get to write its laws.

The Education Department has approved a plan to cut federal loans to college programs that result in low-earning jobs – a move the Trump administration sees as an opportunity to rein in runaway borrowing, while critics argue it is a blow to students seeking degrees in such fields as music, public service and religious studies.
The department announced the so-called "rule" Monday for its new Student Tuition and Transparency System and Earnings Accountability initiative – after saying in April, when the rule-drafting process started, that the federal student loan portfolio was approaching $1.7 trillion as "more students are left financially worse off than if they had never attended college.”
“The Act presents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to rein in unsustainable student loan borrowing ... and bring uniform accountability across the higher education system,” the release also stated.
Bachelor’s programs will now be required to prove that their graduates earn higher median annual earnings than the average high school graduate, and masters programs that their graduates earn higher median annual earnings than the average bachelor’s degree recipient.
If a program's graduates do not meet this threshold in two-out-of-any-three consecutive award years, the program is categorized as ‘low-earning’ and loses eligibility for Direct Loans. Bachelor’s programs in Religion/Religious Studies (53.3%) and Graphic Communications (17.7%) most frequently failed the earnings test, according to agency data.
“If a program cannot show that it leaves its graduates financially better off than if they had never enrolled, it should not be underwritten by federal taxpayers,” said Under Secretary of Education Nicholas Kent.
As part of the rule drafting process that started this spring, the department included a standard public comment period in which the National Education Association, the nation’s largest teachers union, called the new earnings test a “severe regression in consumer protection.”
The union also argued that “an earnings premium alone does not go nearly far enough to ensure that programs lead to true financial stability" and that the rule “abandons advanced degree seekers,” as well as “unfairly penalizes essential but lower-paying public service fields,” which carry non-monetary value.
Many degree programs, the Association of American Universities (AAU) similarly reasoned, “produce substantial public value that wage data alone cannot capture,” concluding that STATS would “discourag[e] entry” into “public service and culturally vital careers,” such as the arts.
Exponentially more Master’s degree programs failed the earnings test; notably, Religion/Religious Studies degrees (89.4%), Mental and Social Health Services (64.3%), Fine and Studio Arts (44.1%), and Music (41.8%).

☠️📱 Instagram caught profiting from paid ads promoting child abuse material
Instagram was not just hosting the rot.
The platform was running paid advertisements promoting child sexual abuse material in India — with links sending users to Telegram channels where the material was being sold, BBC reported.
And here is the most damning part: Meta says ads are reviewed before they go live.
So how did this pass?
📊 The investigation found around 30 unique ads promoting child sexual abuse material, along with roughly 20 ads featuring adult pornography. Some ads reportedly showed children in sexually suggestive or abusive contexts and directed users off-platform to Telegram.
When one of the ads was reported to Instagram, the platform replied 24 hours later that it did not violate its rules.
Only later, after Meta was asked for comment, did the company say it had disabled several ads, suspended accounts, removed more content and blocked URLs.
Meta’s explanation?
💬 “No system is perfect, and our review process may not detect all policy violations.”
That is the same company whose empire is built on algorithmic targeting, behavioral data and advertising optimization.
✅ The machine knows what keeps people scrolling.
✅ The machine knows what gets clicks.
❌ But somehow the machine could not reliably stop paid ads promoting child exploitation.
💵 A retired Indian Supreme Court justice, Madan Lokur, said Instagram appeared to be “making money by participating in a criminal activity,” adding:

Even a former Facebook vice-president, Brian Boland, said he was “horrified and unsurprised” by the findings. He said he left the company because he believed:

Meta denies prioritizing revenue over safety and says child exploitation is a horrific crime that it works aggressively to fight.
But the business model speaks for itself: nearly all of Meta’s revenue comes from advertising, and analysts estimate ads account for more than 90% of Instagram’s revenue.
So the question is simple:
❓ If every ad is reviewed before publication, how did ads like this get approved?
❓ And if Instagram’s recommendation system can push users deeper into extreme content within days, what exactly is Meta optimizing for — safety, or engagement?
The Indian government has now summoned Meta representatives.
The findings expose something far darker than a moderation failure: a platform where criminal abuse, algorithmic amplification and advertising revenue can collide — and where Meta only seems to act properly after journalists start asking questions.
