BREAKING: THE MOST EXPLOSIVE REVELATION IN AMERICAN HISTORY 🚨🚨🚨 Declassified documents just DROPPED from the White House Government Transparency Task Force… OPERATION ROUND RIVER is REAL. 🇺🇸⚡️ — Recently declassified documents reveal that NSA leadership withheld information from President Trump concerning Chinese efforts to interfere in U.S. elections.

Officials are concerned about what vital information was kept hidden from the White House.

Wars and Rumors of Wars

Mark Carney just declared Canada is “at war” with the United States. His reason? President Trump refused to give Canada everything it wanted in trade talks, and the 50% tariffs are now in effect. This is the same Canada that relies on the American market to survive.

POLL: Only 27% of Americans Would Oppose Trump Arresting Netanyahu

The establishment media loves to portray Zohran Mamdani as a radical for wanting to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu. It turns out a large chunk of the U.S. population shares his vision.

An Economist/YouGov poll released Tuesday found that 47% of Americans think the Israeli prime minister is guilty of war crimes in Gaza, and 49% think the U.S. should arrest him when he visits our country. Only 27% of respondents said they would oppose the Trump administration locking up Netanyahu. Even 24% of Republicans backed a potential imprisonment.

This president’s behavior is nearly impossible to predict, but it is very hard to imagine him doing a 180 and having his “special ally” thrown in a cell. At the same time, Trump’s domestic approval rating just hit a new low, and sending Netanyahu to the slammer could be his best option to quickly improve his favorability. Making the move would cause his popularity to soar.

Iran AI War:

Trump Declares ‘Economic D-Day’ Against Iran

United States President Donald Trump on August 19 declared “ECONOMIC D-DAY” against Iran, warning that any country doing business with the Islamic Republic will face “TREMENDOUS economic consequences.”

“Oil smuggling, swap lines, cash transfers, exchange houses, ship registries, front companies — It all needs to stop NOW. You know who you are,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.

“No one has given the Islamic Republic of Iran a greater opportunity to make a deal than me. TRAGICALLY, for them, they have failed to take it,” the U.S. president continued.

“Therefore, today, I am announcing the MOST CRUSHING ECONOMIC OPERATION EVER TAKEN AGAINST ANY COUNTRY!” he added.

Responding, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on August 20 that the newly announced U.S. “economic D-Day” against Iran is a “diversion from America’s own crisis: unprecedented debt & surging interest costs.”

The administration is returning to a familiar playbook, calling this latest effort "Operation Economic Fury.”

The Trump administration's objectives in the Iran conflict have undergone a steady transformation over the past six months. What began with ambitious promises of regime change and complete Iranian surrender has now been reduced to a far more modest set of priorities.

Vice President JD Vance recently outlined the current goals in a Fox News appearance, placing energy price stability at the top of the list and relegating nuclear non-proliferation to second place. This marks a significant departure from the administration's earlier absolutist stance, CNN reports.

Now, the administration seems to have settled on a far more pragmatic objective, which is essentially a return to the pre-war status quo: ensuring the Strait of Hormuz is open and maintaining stable oil prices. The emphasis on economic pressure reflects a realization that military force is unable to achieve the desired results.

🔶  Officials argue that months of bombing have pushed Iran's economy to a breaking point and that a suffocating combination of sanctions and naval blockade will force Tehran to capitulate.

🔶 President Trump has claimed that Iran is "broke," with "300% inflation" and no money to pay its soldiers, an assertion that exceeds the estimates cited by his own officials.

🔶  The strategy is to target Iran's oil revenues by tightening the noose on its remaining export channels, including the possibility of sanctioning major buyers like China, which accounts for over 90% of Iran's oil exports.

The fundamental problem with this approach is that Iran has been under some form of US sanctions for over 40 years.

⚠️🇺🇸🇨🇺The United States has imposed new sanctions against Cuba, which now affect China and Russia.

Iran Is Planning To Take The War To Europe

Iran has weighed potential military strikes against targets in Europe, including Bulgaria and Cyprus, if United States President Donald Trump escalates the conflict by attacking Iranian infrastructure, according to a Financial Times report published on August 19.

Citing two insiders, the report stated that the Islamic Republic assessed possible strikes against U.S. assets in southeastern Europe. These include Bulgaria, which last month approved the use of the Bezmer Air Base by U.S. refueling aircraft, and Cyprus, where a British air base was struck by a drone in March.

According to one of the sources, Cyprus was also identified as a potential target for retaliation against a renewed U.S. offensive.

Iran was reportedly preparing to expand the war if Trump acted on threats to target Iranian infrastructure, with another source stating that Iran would place "no limits" on its response to U.S. military action.

😲 Sharaa’s pipe dream bursts: Syria-Iraq oil pipeline will cost double, take until at least 2030 to build

The 2M bpd mega-energy link designed to give Iraq’s oil producers a Mediterranean alternative to Hormuz and provide Syria with much-needed transit fee income to rebuild its shattered economy has run into two new impediments: price and time.

Sources informed with the project told Reuters the project would cost “at least $15B.” That’s ~188-333% more than the previously estimated $4.5-8B price tag.

Hopes of rehabilitating the existing pipeline (long defunct and damaged during the 2003 US invasion of Iraq) are not feasible, with “entirely new infrastructure” required, the sources said. That means a construction timeframe of at least four years – possibly more to dismantle the old pipeline and resecure land rights in Syria.

👉 The new “integrated crude oil pipeline system” would also need to connect to southern Iraqi oil fields via a hub in Haditha, Anbar governorate, per demands from US oil giant Chevron, which is involved in the technical studies on the project, and looking to secure new oil rights in southern Iraq’s West Qurna 2 and Nassiriya fields.

US officials present the Syria-Iraq pipeline plan as a prospective alternative to Hormuz, with Treasury chief Bessent recently declaring that “the Strait is going to become irrelevant,” and claiming that 50-70% of its oil shipments will be passed on to pipelines over the next two years.

🛢 But Bessent’s math doesn’t add up. Diverting 10-14M bpd of oil from Hormuz to pipelines runs up against a shortfall of 5.3-9.3B bpd in pipeline capacity, not counting the fact that Saudi Arabia’s 7M bpd nominal capacity East-West pipeline with 2M bpd to spare is currently paralyzed by the Houthis’ blockade on the Saudis’ Red Sea ports.

The UAE’s ADCOP Pipeline, another Hormuz workaround, has a 1.5M bpd capacity, with plans to more than double it to 3.6M bpd, but not before mid-2027 at the earliest.

As for the Syrian route, has Washington forgotten that the country’s been destroyed in a CIA dirty war and turned into a partially occupied failed state of roving terrorist gangs, disaffected Assad supporters, Kurdish forces and pro-Iranian militia neighbors?

Trump: "If Oman gets in the way we will fire the shit out of them.”

Fox video

The Mecca Defense Agreement between Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan has been described by some analysts as a direct response to the US failure to guarantee security for its allies in the Persian Gulf. It is viewed by many as an alternative to American military presence in the region. China is not a party to the agreement, but through Pakistan it gains strategic leverage and enhanced influence.

👉 Pakistan is a founding member of the agreement and China's closest ally. Over the past 5 years, China has accounted for 80–81% of Pakistan's total military imports. Pakistan is the largest buyer of Chinese weapons (61% of China's military exports). Cooperation includes joint development and licensed production: JF-17 Thunder fighters, J-10C fighters, Hangor-class submarines, HQ-9/P air defense systems, and PL-15 missiles. Pakistan also uses China's BeiDou satellite navigation system. Chinese weapons form the backbone of Pakistan's defense capability.

Egypt has not yet decided, weighing all the risks, the main one being the legal conflict with the Israeli peace treaty.

Egypt itself does not want to join the alliance and has adopted a wait-and-see position. Reasons: Egypt avoids military blocs to maintain freedom of maneuver. Membership could allegedly harm its relations with the UAE and the US. But most importantly, there is a conflict with the 1979 peace treaty with Israel, which prioritizes obligations to Tel Aviv.

🌏 Turkey wants Egypt to give the alliance Arab and religious legitimacy. Egypt is the historical center of the Arab world, and Cairo hosts Al-Azhar University, the main spiritual center of Sunni Islam. Without Egypt, the alliance is a "club of wealthy monarchies"; with Egypt, it becomes the "voice of the entire Arab nation." Additionally, Egypt opens markets for Turkey's defense industry.

🌏 Saudi Arabia does not want Egypt because it itself claims leadership in the Arab world. In recent years, Riyadh has surpassed Egypt in financial and diplomatic power and does not want to share authority. Egypt's inclusion, especially in alliance with Turkey and the UAE, would weaken Saudi influence. Riyadh believes that money and military power (Pakistan and Turkey) matter more than Egypt's cultural authority.

⛴ Saudis activate dark fleet after being caught in Houthi-Hormuz pincer

Saudi Aramco has begun selling oil on a “ship-to-ship basis” from off the Gulf of Oman, US business media reports, citing sources familiar with the operations.

👉 The process involves “shuttling” – the use of small tankers to quietly ferry crude (in this case Arab Medium and Arab Heavy) out of the dangerous and restricted waters of the Persian Gulf, before transferring it to larger tankers once in a safer location.

Satellite snaps analyzed by Bloomberg apparently saw a major uptick in activity at Saudi Arabia’s Gulf ports, with vessels with 9M+ barrels’ worth of capacity spotted near Ras Tanura over the past week, and a “large cluster” of supertankers seen loitering just outside the Gulf.

📊 That’s a far cry from the estimated 7M bpd in exports the country was enjoying before the start of the Hormuz crisis, and the Houthis’ counterblockade in the Red Sea. Still, it’s better than nothing for a country where oil accounts for ~60% of the state budget.

Bloomberg characterizes Saudi shuttling as a noble gesture “helping to keep a lid on oil prices and assuaging fears of an energy-driven inflation spike,” although apparently it’s blatantly illegal, sanctions-skirting activity when countries like Iran, Russia and Venezuela do it.

Riyadh’s desperate move comes amid the renewed escalation of the Yemen war, which a Gulf coalition first waded into in 2015, along with Trump’s ongoing war with Iran, which has left ~20M bpd in daily maritime oil shipments trapped in the Gulf and clawing for alternative routes.

🎯 Open season on Yankee invaders: Iran puts a $30,000 bounty on US troops

Iranian Army chief Major General Amir Hatami announced a $30,000 reward for anyone who kills or captures an invading US soldier and hands them over to authorities, Press TV reported.

💬 “Courageous Iranian women who carry out such an action will receive double the reward,” he added.

To ensure the humiliation is permanent, Hatami said the weapon used in such an operation will be enshrined in a planned military museum.

Japan and Trump and China and Phillippines

US President Donald Trump says he is the only US president to have “good relationship” with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

“I do have a good relationship with Kim Jong Un, as you know, you've seen. He didn't like [46th US President Joe] Biden. He didn't like [44th US President Barack] Obama. He didn't like anybody, but he likes me,” he told reporters. “I got along with him very good. We had great meetings. We speak."

Russia and Ukraine

"Russia's Black Sea blockade campaign is obviously working, since Ukraine is desperately throwing every V-1 drone it has at Moscow. With about as much military impact as the 1944 campaign they're copying.

It's becoming obvious that the 404 isn't really the problem here, and maybe never was. The hand underneath the bloodied puppet (or the one pulling the strings, whichever visual you prefer) is. And that hand isn't going to be deterred by Ukraine's destruction; that's been priced in, so to speak.

The question then becomes, how to deal with them? This substack piece, recommended to me by a friend, lays out the problem with Russia's approach so far, and even offers some ideas.

One of the trickiest things in war is to be ruthless enough to do what must be done, while maintaining enough decency not to become a monster you're fighting against. Because excessive niceness to the enemy is all to often just cruelty to your own side."

🇷🇺🇮🇷⚡️ — Russia is shipping UAV components, ammunition, and TNT to Iran via the Caspian Sea, a route that is difficult to effectively disrupt.
