We grew up with Hogan's Heroes where the NAZIs were bumbling fools that were eliminated in WW2. The Indiana Jones showed NAZIs as sociopaths of the past.
We thought Nazis were defeated and only a relic of the past, suitable for convenient villians for movies and tv.
Then there is the idiocy of the Left and Democrats claiming anyone they don't like is a NAZI.
Thus it may have come as a shock to learn that NAZIs were alive and well and violently taking over in Ukraine. Real NAZIs are like a flash from the past.

Dolgov was referring to a procession attended by thousands in Kiev on Thursday to celebrate the 106th birthday of Stepan Bandera, leader of World War II-era Ukrainian insurgents who battled against both the Soviets and the Nazis, but at times collaborated with Nazi forces who had invaded the Soviet Union.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has branded Bandera "Hitler's accomplice," while Russian media frequently refers to all those who back Kiev in the conflict in Ukraine as "Banderovtsy" or Bandera supporters.
However, in Ukraine Bandera is widely seen as a nationalist hero who took on the Communist regime.
The Western Media Is Whitewashing the Azov Battalion
Before Russia invaded Ukraine, these fighters were neo-Nazis. They still are.
By 2021, the Azov Movement’s position as a premier hub of transnational white supremacy was firmly established. It was tracked by researchers; its fighters were banned from receiving military aid by Congress; and it was kicked off Facebook. The State Department declared its political wing a “nationalist hate group.” Journalists exposed its enlistment of fighters from Sweden to Australia.
Then came Russia’s invasion. Within months, many of these same institutions had plunged into an Orwellian stampede to persuade the West that Ukraine’s neo-Nazi regiment was suddenly not a problem.
It wasn’t pretty. In 2018, The Guardian had published an article titled “Neo-Nazi Groups Recruit Britons to Fight in Ukraine,” in which the Azov Regiment was called “a notorious Ukrainian fascist militia.” Indeed, as late as November 2020, The Guardian was calling Azov a “neo-Nazi extremist movement.”

Not acknowledging this threat means that little is being done to guard against it.
On the eve of World War II, Ukraine was home to one the largest Jewish communities in Europe, with estimates as high as 2.7 million, a remarkable number considering the territory’s long record of antisemitism and pogroms. The Babyn Yar ravine continued to fill up as a mass grave for two years. With as many as 100,000 murdered there, it became one of the largest single killing sites of the Holocaust outside of Auschwitz and other death camps. Researchers have noted the key role locals played in fulfilling Nazi kill orders at the site. ...
In another ominous development, Ukraine has in recent years erected a glut of statues honoring Ukrainian nationalists whose legacies are tainted by their indisputable record as Nazi proxies. The Forward newspaper cataloged some of these deplorables, including Stepan Bandera, leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), whose followers acted as local militia members for the SS and German army. “Ukraine has several dozen monuments and scores of street names glorifying this Nazi collaborator, enough to require two separate Wikipedia pages,” the Forward wrote.

Nazi war criminals became high ranking commanders in NATO after WW2
The most famous of them was Adolf Heusinger, chief of the Operationsabteilung from 1940-1944. He was actually Hitler's chief of staff and helped plan the Nazi’s invasions of Poland, Norway, Denmark, and France. He was promoted to colonel on August 1, 1940 and became chief of the Operationsabteilung in October 1940, making him number three in the Army planning hierarchy. After the war, this German war criminal, the man who helped Hitler plan and execute his invasion of neighboring countries which directly led to the deaths of millions of people, was not even put on trial, quite contrary he was allowed to take over the newly established West German army, the "Bundeswehr". In 1961, Heusinger was made the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee (essentially he was NATO's chief of staff). He served in that capacity until 1964.
Heusinger was far from being the only Nazi war criminal who would later serve at a top position in NATO, here's a summary of a few more. General Hans Speidel, a Nazi general who was Erwin Rommel’s chief of staff during WWII. After the war he served in the Western German army and became the Supreme Commander of NATO’s ground forces in Central Europe from 1957-1963.
Johannes Steinhoff, Luftwaffe fighter pilot during WWII and recipient of the Knights Cross of the Iron across (the Nazi military’s highest award), was Chairman of the NATO Military Committee 1971–1974 (among other NATO positions beforehand).
Johann von Kielmansegg, General Staff officer to the High Command of the Wehrmacht 1942-1944, was NATO's Commander in Chief of Allied Forces Central Europe 1967-1968.
Ernst Ferber, a Major in the Wehrmacht and group leader of the organizational department of the Supreme Command of the Army (Wehrmacht) from 1943-1945 and recipient of the Iron Cross 1st Class, was NATO's Commander in Chief of Allied Forces Central Europe from 1973-1975. Karl Schnell, battery chief in the Western campaign in 1940/later First General Staff Officer of the LXXVI Panzer Corps in 1944 and recipient of the Iron Cross 2nd Class, was NATO's Commander in Chief of Allied Forces Central Europe from 1975-1977. Franz Joseph Schulze, a Lieutenant in the reserve and Chief of the 3rd Battery of the Flak Storm Regiment 241 and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross in 1944, was NATO's Commander in Chief of Allied Forces Central Europe from 1977-1979. Ferdinand von Senger und Etterlin; Lieutenant of 24th Panzer Division in the German 6th Army, participant in the Battle of Stalingrad, adjutant to Army High Command, and recipient of the German Cross in gold, was NATO's Commander in Chief of Allied Forces Central Europe 1979-1983.
Today NATO seems to exist to fight a Soviet Union that no longer exists.
Yet countries in Europe and NATO are insanely, perhaps even suicidally insanely set of destroying Russia and Putin.

Who has the power to dictate to all these people exactly what to say - especially to say something so strange?
The fact that they all had the same message is indicating they have one master. It's one brain. One person who is not being restrained or questioned. Clearly if anyone was questioning the source they would have pointed out the absurdity of having all the leaders making the same incantation. The illusion of freedom was utterly lost. The curtain was pulled back to reveal the very opposite of freedom.
Sweden has been extreme in backing the fight against Russia in Ukraine.

Remember Sweden like France and Ukraine submitted to the NAZIs and became collaborators. Also remember that Sweden is Socialist, just as the German NAZIs were also socialists (National Socialists). Consider also that the NAZIs killed those who did not collaborate so that was a strong survival selection in favor of those that were ok with supporting the NAZI agenda.
Sweden was also doing experiments in eugenics.
In the first half of the 20th century, as part of the study of eugenics in Sweden, a program was launched for compulsory sterilization. According to various estimates, it affected 63,000 women. Sterilization in Sweden continued until the 1970s when it was canceled and recognized as a crime against humanity.
Sterilization was considered voluntary but, in fact, it was not. It was intended to prevent reproduction by people who were not “Aryan” or who were considered carriers of defective genetic traits.

Sweden and Poland lost a large number of mercenaries operating undercover in Ukraine. Amazing stupidity led to that disaster. They held a graduation ceremony for UAV trained students, thought they were being smart by canceling it and just moving it one day later. Of course the Russians knew about it and dropped an Iskander on it in the middle of the ceremony. Some estimates are that 700 people were killed. Amazing incompetence.
A Finland politician says that things are being mobilized there and that something's about to happen. He said that a day or two ago. I think I stuck it in the post yesterday.
Sweden lost some mercenaries as well in the disaster. There are rumors that the upper management of Saab UAV division were killed.
The president of France is about to be removed in a call for a new election. Thus a strong aggressive member of NATO may be lost soon.

During the War, he edited Krakivski Visti, a Nazi propaganda rag in occupied Krakow that was printed on a press confiscated from a Jewish newspaper. Freeland, of course, is not her grandfather, nor is she responsible for his actions. But she is responsible for bringing him up at every opportunity to portray him as a liberal democrat who profoundly influenced her politics.
“My maternal grandparents fled western Ukraine after Hitler and Stalin signed their non-aggression pact in 1939. They never dared to go back, but they stayed in close touch with their brothers and sisters and their families, who remained behind,” she wrote in a 2015 essay for the Brookings Institution titled “My Ukraine.” “For the rest of my grandparents’ lives, they saw themselves as political exiles with a responsibility to keep alive the idea of an independent Ukraine, which had last existed, briefly, during and after the chaos of the 1917 Russian Revolution.
