A massive illegal electronic device network capable of crippling cell towers and jamming 911 calls across New York City was uncovered by the Secret Service — just as world leaders prepared to descend on Manhattan for the UN General Assembly, officials said Tuesday.
Investigators discovered the trove of devices — including more than 300 co-located SIM servers and 100,000 SIM cards – at multiple locations within 35 miles of the United Nations.
“The potential for disruption to our country’s telecommunications posed by this network of devices cannot be overstated,” Secret Service Director Sean Curran said.

The U.S. Secret Service dismantled a network of electronic devices located throughout the New York tristate area that were used to conduct multiple telecommunications-related threats directed towards senior U.S. government officials, which represented an imminent threat to the agency’s protective operations.
This protective intelligence investigation led to the discovery of more than 300 co-located SIM servers and 100,000 SIM cards across multiple sites.
In addition to carrying out anonymous telephonic threats, these devices could be used to conduct a wide range of telecommunications attacks. This includes disabling cell phone towers, enabling denial of services attacks and facilitating anonymous, encrypted communication between potential threat actors and criminal enterprises.
While forensic examination of these devices is ongoing, early analysis indicates cellular communications between nation-state threat actors and individuals that are known to federal law enforcement.
“The potential for disruption to our country’s telecommunications posed by this network of devices cannot be overstated,” said U.S. Secret Service Director Sean Curran. “The U.S. Secret Service’s protective mission is all about prevention, and this investigation makes it clear to potential bad actors that imminent threats to our protectees will be immediately investigated, tracked down and dismantled.”
These devices were concentrated within 35 miles of the global meeting of the United Nations General Assembly now underway in New York City. Given the timing, location and potential for significant disruption to New York telecommunications posed by these devices, the agency moved quickly to disrupt this network. The U.S. Secret Service’s Advanced Threat Interdiction Unit, a new section of the agency dedicated to disrupting the most significant and imminent threats to our protectees, is conducting this investigation. This investigation is currently ongoing.
The Department of Homeland Security’s Homeland Security Investigations, the Department of Justice, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the NYPD, as well as other state and local law enforcement partners, provided valuable technical advice and assistance in support of this investigation.

The Trump administration will not bail out New York City in any financial crisis if Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani follows through with his plans, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Wednesday.
“I guarantee you — and there are not a lot of things in life that are sure — that New York City will be coming to the federal government for a bailout if the Mamdani plans are implemented,” Bessent said in an interview with Fox Business Network.

Federal health authorities are expected to issue a warning about the use of acetaminophen — the active ingredient in Tylenol and one of the most widely used drugs worldwide — by pregnant women.
At the same time, officials plan to promote the little-known drug leucovorin as a possible treatment for autism. Traditionally, it is prescribed to counter the side effects of certain medications and to treat vitamin B9 deficiency.

Mass Media is now fighting for Tylenol
Tylenol maker Kenvue is reportedly preparing for a glut of lawsuits after President Donald Trump made a baseless warning that the active ingredient in the drug, acetaminophen, could cause autism.
At a press conference Monday, Trump repeatedly urged pregnant women, “Don’t take Tylenol.”
Along with Trump’s warning, the Food and Drug Administration issued a notice to doctors of the potential link between Tylenol and autism, and is recommending pregnant women use the lowest dose for the shortest duration possible if deemed medically necessary.
The FDA did acknowledge “a causal relationship has not been established” between Tylenol and autism, and experts warn there are other sets of risks for pregnant women with untreated fevers, including miscarriages and birth defects.
But with the Trump administration’s claims about a possible Tylenol and autism link, along with the FDA’s plan to add a safety label for acetaminophen, it opens Kenvue up for more potential legal trouble both at the federal and state level.
The Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter, thousands of new lawsuits against Kenvue could be filed in the coming years following the Trump administration’s claims.
The Independent has reached out to Kenvue for comment.
Starting in 2022, hundreds of lawsuits claiming a link between acetaminophen consumption during pregnancy and autism or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) have been filed against Johnson & Johnson and later Kenvue and other companies, per the WSJ. When Kenvue broke off from Johnson & Johnson in 2023, it inherited the Tylenol-related legal issues, according to the publication.

I imagine the makers of Tylenol will be spending money trying to make the case that they are innocent, and therefore should not be found guilty in the many lawsuits that are pending now against them. Mass Media is now doing what they can to save Tylenol.
Apparently Tylenol tweeted back in 2017 that it was not recommended:

A sniper who killed at least two migrants and wounded several others in a shooting at a Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility has been identified as Joshua Jahn, 29, the Daily Mail can reveal.
The bloodbath unfolded at the facility in the Texas city shortly after 7am CT Wednesday morning, when the gunman targeted migrants on an unmarked transport van before killing himself.
Multiple law enforcement sources confirmed the identity of the gunman as Jahn, and ICE said in a statement that the sniper ‘fired indiscriminately’.
The victims were ICE detainees, and no law enforcement were injured in the shooting.
Officials said at a press conference on Wednesday morning that bullets found by the shooter’s body were engraved with ‘anti-ICE messages’, and FBI Director Kash Patel shared an image of the bullets reading: ‘Anti-ICE.’

After getting to know and fully understand the Ukraine/Russia Military and Economic situation and, after seeing the Economic trouble it is causing Russia, I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form. With time, patience, and the financial support of Europe and, in particular, NATO, the original Borders from where this War started, is very much an option. Why not? Russia has been fighting aimlessly for three and a half years a War that should have taken a Real Military Power less than a week to win. This is not distinguishing Russia. In fact, it is very much making them look like “a paper tiger.” When the people living in Moscow, and all of the Great Cities, Towns, and Districts all throughout Russia, find out what is really going on with this War, the fact that it’s almost impossible for them to get Gasoline through the long lines that are being formed, and all of the other things that are taking place in their War Economy, where most of their money is being spent on fighting Ukraine, which has Great Spirit, and only getting better, Ukraine would be able to take back their Country in its original form and, who knows, maybe even go further than that!
