As I predicted, Trump did agree to a deal with Iran within 2 weeks (see previous post).

As I said, Iran had time on its side and the end was near. The oil and other trade goods tied up in the Persian Gulf were about to cause massive worldwide harm. Trump had no choice.


This led to the predictable uproar from Israel and its proxies trying to pressure Trump into rescinding the deal, and active steps to scuttle it. Israel leadership (Leaders of The Chosen Ones) really do not care if the world is plunged into chaos and death. Only the survival of Israel matters to them. They are a theocracy and that's how it works:

A new poll of 3,644 respondents by Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Agam Institute finds 92.1% of Israelis believe Iran emerged victorious or gained more from the conflict.

• 82.9% believe the six-week campaign against Iran weakened Israel's long-term security.

• Even among Netanyahu's right-wing voter base, 93.1% say Iran came out on top.

• 63.2% oppose the US-Iran agreement, with only 12.1% expressing support.

• 72.5% of respondents don't believe Netanyahu's claims about the military campaign's achievements, while 56.4% rate his management as "failed" or "poor.

• Only 12.2% of respondents believe Israel achieved most of the "total victory" goals (toppling Hamas, freeing hostages, removing Hezbollah threat). 61.3% said Israel did not achieve these goals "at all."

• 48.2% of respondents support resuming major military action against Hezbollah, including strikes in Beirut, even at the risk of clashing with Trump.

Meanwhile, the Israelis have been lashing out at the Trump administration because, under the auspices of the peace deal between US and Iran, Israel would have to stop trying to conquer Lebanon and killing Lebanese civilians.

After all, this is a country that coped with the killing of USS Liberty sailors by Israeli military, and is okay with the numerous instances of Israeli spies infiltrating the United States, like the infamous Johnatan Pollard affair.

Trump Says Syria Should Attack Hezbollah Instead Of Israel

United States President Donald Trump criticized Israel’s conduct in its fight against Hezbollah on June 16, arguing that Syria should take over the fight against the Iran-backed group in Lebanon.

In remarks at the G7 summit of global leaders in France, Trump said that the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has gone on for too long and that suggests that Israel is killing too many noncombatants.

He referred to Ahmed al-Sharaa, the president of Syria, saying that he would more effectively lead the fight against Hezbollah.

Syria Is Amassing Jihadists And Mercenaries Along Border With Lebanon

The Syrian Ministry of Defense has ordered new recruits to immediately join training courses as it sent more experienced units, including those with foreign jihadists, to the border with Lebanon, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on June 18.

The deployment, which was first reported by the United Kingdom-based monitoring group last week, is focused in the western Homs countryside, particularly in the city of Qusayr and areas to the south of it, which border the Lebanese governorates of Baalbek-Hermel and Beqaa.
