"I don't think people should go back to Gaza. I think Gaza has been a very bad place for them. Gaza is not a place for people to live," the US president added.
Hamas has already rejected Trump's offer, saying the US president's statement was a "blatant attempt to liquidate the Palestinian cause”.

Until sanctuary cities become a thing of the past, common sense legislators will have to find creative ways to convince America’s rogue local governments to finally uphold the law. Senator Thom Tillis just came up with one.
The North Carolina Republican filed a bill on Thursday that would allow the victims of migrant crime to sue the sanctuary cities that facilitated that crime, finally opening the door for the public to hold activist anti-law power wielders accountable for the harm they cause.
The bill would also strip sanctuary jurisdictions of federal funding if they continue to refuse to abide by immigration laws and shield law enforcement officials from legal liability for cooperating with ICE. Both proposals represent the change Americans voted for in November.
