🇫🇷 Macron urges French companies to suspend investment in US after Trump's tariffs
“We are not naive, so we are going to protect ourselves,” French President Emmanuel Macron said, adding that “it is important that the investments to come, or announced in recent weeks, are, a time, suspended, until we have clarified things with the United States.”
“What would be the message of having big European players starting to invest billions of euros in the US economy as they are beating us,” Macron asked.
According to French media, quoting multiple corporate leaders and company directors throughout France [LINK], the leadership of France’s biggest companies told Macron to ‘get stuffed’ following the French president’s demand to divest their interests from America.

Donald Trump announced direct negotiations with the Iranian side at "almost the highest level" this Saturday.
🔶 NYT journalist Farnaz Fassihi reported that the meeting will take place in Oman and will be indirect, citing Iranian officials.
🔶 Tehran has previously ruled out direct talks with Washington under threats and pressure, but has left the door open for indirect negotiations.

Iran Abandons Houthis After U.S. Attacks
The Trump administration’s Houthi airstrikes seem to have worked, at least in the short term.
Iran ordered its military personnel to leave Yemen on Thursday, abandoning its rebel allies after they fell victim to last month’s U.S. attacks. A senior Islamic Republic official reportedly said that America’s assaults directly caused the move, adding that Tehran’s primary concern is “Trump and how to deal with him.”
“Every meeting is dominated by discussions about him, and none of the regional groups we previously supported are being discussed,” the source said. That is sure to be music to the president’s ears.
Don’t expect neocon calls for a hot war with the Ayetollah-run nation to simmer now that the U.S. appears to have won the Yemeni freedom of navigation dispute. It won’t be long until they or the foreign government they serve come up with a new reason for why “liberating Iran” is America’s patriotic duty. It’s only a matter of time.

Top Trump ally says president is working to ‘obliterate’ Iran’s economy
💬 “President Trump is going to ensure that his maximum pressure campaign on Iran continues to absolutely, abysmally obliterate the Iranian economy and put peace first, peace in the Middle East first,” Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has announced.
Trump “is absolutely committed to ensuring Iran never gets nuclear weapons capability,” Stefanik, whose candidacy as US UN ambassador was pulled by Trump last week amid the stalling of her nomination, told Fox News.
Trump threatened Sunday that “if they [Iran] don’t make a deal, there will be bombing,” adding “it will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before.” Trump went on to say however that US and Iranian officials were “talking.”
