In the light of this, and in the light of Putin’s evident admiration for Solzhenitsyn, let’s not try to pretend that Russia is a communist nation. We don’t need to like Vladimir Putin. We don’t need to admire him. But we do need to acknowledge that Russia has moved on from the evils of socialism, even as we are in danger of embracing those very same evils."
The Gulag Archipelago is Solzhenitsyn’s attempt to compile a literary-historical record of the vast system of prisons and labor camps that came into being shortly after the Bolsheviks seized power in Russia in 1917 and that underwent an enormous expansion during the rule of Stalin from 1924 to 1953. Various sections of the three volumes describe the arrest, interrogation, conviction, transportation, and imprisonment of the Gulag’s victims by Soviet authorities over four decades. The work mingles historical exposition and Solzhenitsyn’s own autobiographical accounts with the voluminous personal testimony of other inmates that he collected and committed to memory during his imprisonment. Upon publication of the first volume of The Gulag Archipelago, Solzhenitsyn was immediately attacked in the Soviet press. Despite the intense interest in his fate that was shown in the West, he was arrested and charged with treason on February 12, 1974, and was exiled from the Soviet Union the following day.

This suggests that we have had covert military involvement in Ukraine, and that that will continue. Already the UK has admitted special forces there have died. It would be odd to not have Americans there as well, and Biden appears to have admitted it.

The British Ministry of Defense asked YouTube to remove videos of a conversation between Defense Secretary Wallace and a Russian prankster who, under the guise of Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, asked Wallace about nuclear weapons in Ukraine, about military assistance from the UK and about Ukraine's entry into NATO.
The agency fears that the videos will provoke "significant risks to national security" in Britain.
A Short History Lesson on the Ukraine Nazis and the Azov Battalion:
The Atlantic Council and many of its members are busy trying to re-write history and whitewash the AZOV Battalion (fellows from Western Ukraine who have been attacking Russian speaking Ukrainians in the Donbass during the last 8 years) as just a bunch of earnest nationalists.
19th century Ukrainian nationalism was already highly racialized and predates the Nazi ideology. Bandera and his followers, similarly (and independently) to the Nazis, advocated the selective breeding to create a “pure” Ukrainian race and developed an elaborate anti-Jewish discourse. This was years before the German occupation of Ukraine.
The argument that the Azov battalion and its leadership is not affiliated with Nazi ideology, it patently false. The unit’s first commander was far-right nationalist named Andriy Biletsky, who led the neo-Nazi Social-National Assembly and the Patriot of Ukraine.
The claim that The Azov battalion was organized in 2014 as a volunteer force and financed by Igor Kolomoisky in order to defend Ukraine is also factually incorrect. The organization started as a special police company of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It was led by Volodymyr Shpara, the leader of the Vasylkiv, Kyiv, branch of Patriot of Ukraine and Right Sector. As far as the real motivation behind Kolomoisky’s investment in the organization, it was likely more about war profiteering than patriotism.

Ukraine compares itself to Nazi Germany
An image posted to Twitter by Ukraine’s ‘Verkhovna Rada’ (Parliament) portrays a bombed out building in Hamburg in 1943 alongside similar damage to the Ukrainian city of Kharkov in 2022.
The text above the image reads “When the Sky is Open,” and a message in English demands that the West “#CloseTheSky over Ukraine.” Bizarrely, the image shared by the parliament asks the same allies that bombed Hamburg in 1943 to fight on Ukraine’s behalf today.
The analogy drew some puzzled comments online. “You aren't supposed to compare yourselves to Nazis in public,” one commenter joked. “Man, they really don’t know what optics are,” another quipped.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused the Ukrainian government of harboring sympathies to Nazi Germany, and in a speech announcing the start of Russia’s military offensive on Ukraine last month, he said that one of Russia’s goals was to “denazify” the country.
Aside from integrating the neo-Nazi ‘Azov’ batallion into its military, the Ukrainian government has launched efforts to portray its people as racially distinct from Russians, whom politicians in Kiev have openly referred to as “orcs.”
Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera is considered a hero to Ukrainian nationalists, and just last week a television host in Ukraine, Fahruddin Sharafmal, caused controversy when he approvingly quoted Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann in calling for the murder of Russians and their children.

Zelensky has lost control over the national battalions, which act on the basis of their own interests - Russian State Duma deputy Mikhail Sheremet. "Today we can say with confidence that Zelensky has completely lost control over the nationalist battalions and militants. They do not obey him, do not follow his orders and act on the basis of their own interests. All their patriotism is based on the dollar equivalent, they do not need any Ukraine," said the MP.

Putin: "I will thrash them!"
Abramovich has been acting as a “peacemaker,” according to the Daily Mail, as he flies back and forth between Moscow and Ukraine communicating with Putin and Zelenskyy.
Last Wednesday, Abramovich left his Istanbul residence aboard a private jet for Moscow.
Abramovich flew into the Russian capital to meet with Putin and give him a handwritten note from Zelenskyy that outlined Ukraine’s terms for peace.
In response to this, Putin is reported to have said, “Tell him I will thrash them.”
It seems pretty clear that the people Putin intends to "thrash" are the Nazis and that Zelensky was bargaining to spare his Nazi junta.

Critical to denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine is the destruction of the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine/Sluzhba bezpeky Ukrayiny).
Since the coup in 2014, the SBU has been restructured top-down as a Nazi/ethnic cleansing organization with a command structure going back to the George Bush Center for Intelligence in Langley Virginia.
This isn't the CIA telling the head of the SBU what to do.
This is the CIA running the SBU as the head of the SBU.
There is no state without an intelligence organ, and there is no way to neutralize a state without neutralizing its intelligence organ.
Ukraine lost its sovereignty in a process ending in 2014.
This is not merely a case of transnational corporate lobbyists having strong influence over the Ukrainian government.
This is a case of Washington directly controlling Kiev (Warsaw).
Russia has not violated the sovereignty of Ukraine, in Russia's estimation. This is a puppet state which lost its sovereignty eight years ago.
The Russian argument therefore is this:
Ukraine has shown that it could not perform the historical task of being a state-forming people.
But it was granted land and peoples within the territory of Ukraine, in 1991, which would require not only being a state-forming people, but a system-forming state.
Ukraine has failed at both. A system-forming state like Russia or the US or China, accomplishes both historical tasks. A system-forming state can manage being the sovereign of a multi-national, multi-ethnic people within a single state.
Ukraine, in the view of the globalist cabal, needed to re-work itself from the ground up, since its multi-nationality lent it a strong pro-Russian bias.
Hence, it needed to redefine the meaning of a Ukrainian as a particular ethnicity, exclusive of other nationalities in Ukraine.
That was the only way to make it an anti-Russian state.
