1) President Donald Trump’s administration has quietly reactivated a computer check that warns employers when their new employees are likely to be illegal immigrants.
The so-called “no-match” letter warns employers that their employees’ claimed Social Security Numbers are suspect — and so allows the employers to minimize their legal risks by quietly firing the employees who do not have a right to work. The program was stopped by President Barack Obama mainly because it was so effective at warning employers.
“It is a very good thing,” said Jessica Vaughan, policy director at the Center for Immigration Studies. She continued: Our government knows the name, address, and place of employment of millions of illegal workers … These jobs should be for Americans and legal workers. The policy should also identify the Social Security Numbers that have been stolen by illegals from Americans, she said.

2). The White House is considering a proposal to make it easier to deport low-income immigrants who are dependent on public benefits.
The Department of Justice has written a draft regulation that, if implemented, would greatly expand the number of immigrants in the U.S. who could be subject to deportation for using public benefits, Reuters reported Friday.
The new proposal is part of the Trump administration’s larger effort to limit immigration from low-income foreign nationals.
Such benefits include the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), commonly referred to as “food stamps;” Supplemental Security Income (SSI) doled out to the elderly and disabled people; Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF); Section 8 housing vouchers and various Medicaid benefits.
If the draft regulation is put into effect, it would be a sharp reversal from longstanding policy.
Permanent legal residents — also known as green card holders — who are dependent on the government for assistance and determined to be a “public charge” are already subject to deportation. However, in reality, few are ever actually deported. A 1948 ruling has essentially restricted such deportations to only those immigrants who the government has demanded to pay for public services but have failed to do so.
U.S. laws technically allow for the removal of legal residents who are deemed “public charges” within the first five years of their admission if their reason for seeking benefits predated their entry into the U.S., the news organization noted, for example, if an immigrant did not disclose a health issue that requires government assistance. However, because of the decades-old ruling, deportation for this reason almost never happens.
The proposal suggests the Trump administration would override this precedent and allow for the removal of immigrants who have taken advantage of public benefits within the first five years of their admission.

3). The Trump Administration Is Cracking Down On Illegal Aliens' Housing

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) plans to crack down on illegal aliens who are taking advantage of public house assistance programs, The Daily Caller reported. As it currently stands, illegal aliens are not allowed to receive financial housing assistance. They often skirt this rule by living with family members who are U.S. citizens and receive their assistance from HUD.
The new rule would prevent illegal aliens from living in homes that receive HUD funding, even if they're not the ones actually receiving the assistance. Those who are caught with illegal aliens living in their homes will have to comply with the new rule or move to a different non-HUD location.
To determine whether or not a household is complying with the program, families will be screened through the "SAVE" program, which stands for Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements.
HUD estimates that there are tens of thousands of illegal aliens who are skirting the requirement process by living in these "mixed families." As of now, millions of Americans are on the HUD waitlist because there isn't enough money to assist everyone.

We’ve got our own people to house and we need to take care of our citizens,” a HUD official told The Daily Caller. “Because of past loopholes in HUD guidance, illegal aliens were able to live in free public housing desperately needed by so many of our own citizens. As illegal aliens attempt to swarm our borders, we’re sending the message that you can’t live off of American welfare on the taxpayers’ dime.”

4). The Department of Homeland Security is racing to implement a plan that would give federal law enforcement on the border the authority to conduct interviews with asylum seekers who fear returning to their home countries, according to two sources with first-hand knowledge of the plan.
Under the pending procedural change, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services officers would train Border Patrol agents on the southern border how to conduct "credible fear interviews," which immigrants must pass to go on to claim asylum. Agents would conduct the interviews shortly after apprehending people who have illegally crossed from Mexico to the U.S..
The Trump administration is pushing to start agent training “ASAP,” according to one official.

President Obama asserted executive privilege to deny Congress access to records pertaining to Fast and Furious. Democratic Attorney General Eric Holder was criticized for ‘Fast and Furious’ obstruction.
In 2016 a judge ruled against the executive privilege and that certain documents would be released to Congress. In March of 2018, the Trump administration announced that Fast and Furious documents previously withheld by Eric Holder would be released.

Janet Napolitano, who created the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program as President Obama’s homeland security secretary, is now the president of the University of California and is leading the school system’s lawsuit demanding the program be reinstated.
She created the DACA program by memo in 2012, issuing guidance to immigration agencies to have them create an application process that has allowed hundreds of thousands of young adult illegal immigrants to be granted a stay of deportation, work permits, access to some taxpayer benefits and a deeper place in U.S. society.
But after a court ruled a subsequent similar amnesty known as Deferred Action for Parents of Americans illegal in 2015, and facing a legal deadline imposed by the same states that defeated DAPA, the Trump administration concluded it couldn’t defend DACA.

President Donald Trump said Sunday that tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese goods will increase to 25% on Friday, despite repeated claims by the administration in recent weeks that trade talks with Beijing were going well.
The tariff rate on those goods was originally set at 10%. Trump had originally threatened to increase the tariffs at the start of the year, but postponed that decision after China and the US agreed to sit down for trade talks.
In addition, Trump threatened to impose 25% tariffs on an additional $325 billion of Chinese goods “shortly.”

MoveOn is claiming the Republicans are "Spying" because they gathered info on their protests by looking at social media about it and the internet about it!
Apparently they are trying to water down the term “spying” to make it as if everybody does what they did to Trump et al:

You read that right: DHS sent info about our peaceful protests to law enforcement groups focused on "terrorism."
