Biden calls Chinese President Xi a dictator and BS about the Chinese Balloon
U.S. President Joe Biden on Tuesday called Chinese President Xi Jinping a dictator, adding that Xi was very embarrassed when a Chinese balloon was blown off course over the U.S. recently.
Biden made the remarks at a fundraiser in California a day after Secretary of State Antony Blinken met Xi on a trip to China that was aimed at easing tensions between the two countries.
"The reason why Xi Jinping got very upset in terms of when I shot that balloon down with two box cars full of spy equipment in it was he didn't know it was there," Biden said in the fundraiser.
"That's a great embarrassment for dictators. When they didn't know what happened. That wasn't supposed to be going where it was. It was blown off course," Biden added.
"Devilly big"?
U.S. President Joe Biden said on Monday that relations between the United States and China are on the right track. This was reported by Reuters.
"Here [in American-Chinese relations] we are on the right track," the agency quotes Biden as saying. The President added that progress has been made on this issue.
Earlier it was reported that Biden assessed the work of U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in China as "devilly big".
On June 18-19, Blinken visited Beijing and met with representatives of the Chinese leadership. He said that several other representatives of the American administration will visit China soon. The Secretary of State also said that he had invited Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang to Washington, and he accepted the invitation.

Serge Varlay told our journalist that BlackRock manages $20 trillion dollars worldwide. According to him, “it’s incomprehensible numbers.” BlackRock has over $9.5 trillion of assets under management, that’s larger than the GDP of all countries on the globe except the US and China.
