Military and Financial Warfare Strategy in Ukraine and America

If you want to understand the war you must understand this:

Big Arrow War—a Primer

For all those scratching their heads in confusion, or dusting off their dress uniforms for the Ukrainian victory parade in Kiev, over the news about Russia’s “strategic shift”, you might want to re-familiarize yourself with basic military concepts.

Maneuver warfare is a good place to start. Understand Russia started its “special military operation” with a severe manpower deficit—200,000 attackers to some 600,000 defenders (or more). Classic attritional conflict was never an option. Russian victory required maneuver.

Maneuver war is more psychological than physical and focuses more on the operational than on the tactical level. Maneuver is relational movement—how you deploy and move your forces in relation to your opponent. Russian maneuver in the first phase of its operation support this.

The Russians needed to shape the battlefield to their advantage. In order to do this, they needed to control how Ukraine employed it’s numerically superior forces, while distributing their own smaller combat power to best accomplish this objective.

Strategically, to facilitate the ability to maneuver between the southern, central, and northern fronts, Russia needed to secure a land bridge between Crimea and Russia. The seizure of the coastal city of Mariupol was critical to this effort. Russia has accomplished this task.

While this complex operation unfolded, Russia needed to keep Ukraine from maneuvering its numerically superior forces in a manner that disrupted the Mariupol operation. This entailed the use of several strategic supporting operations—feints, fixing operations, and deep attack.

The concept of a feint is simple—a military force either is seen as preparing to attack a given location, or actually conducts an attack, for the purpose of deceiving an opponent into committing resources in response to the perceived or actual actions.

The use of the feint played a major role in Desert Storm, where Marine Amphibious forces threatened the Kuwaiti coast, forcing Iraq to defend against an attack that never came, and where the 1st Cavalry Division actually attacked Wadi Al Batin to pin down the Republican Guard.

The Russians made extensive use of the feint in Ukraine, with Amphibious forces off Odessa freezing Ukrainian forces there, and a major feint attack toward Kiev compelling Ukraine to reinforce their forces there. Ukraine was never able to reinforce their forces in the east.

Fixing operations were also critical. Ukraine had assembled some 60,000-100,000 troops in the east, opposite Donbas. Russia carried out a broad fixing attack designed to keep these forces fully engaged and unable to maneuver in respect to other Russian operations.

During Desert Storm, two Marine Divisions were ordered to carry out similar fixing attacks against Iraqi forces deployed along the Kuwaiti-Saudi border, tying down significant numbers of men and material that could not be used to counter the main US attack out west.

The Russian fixing attack pinned the main Ukrainian concentration of forces in the east, and drove them away from Mariupol, which was invested and reduced. Supporting operations out of Crimea against Kherson expanded the Russian land bridge. This phase is now complete.

Russia also engaged in a campaign of strategic deep attack designed to disrupt and destroy Ukrainian logistics, command & control, and air power and long-range fire support. Ukraine is running out of fuel and ammo, cannot coordinate maneuver, and has no meaningful Air Force.

Russia is redeploying some of its premier units from where they had been engaged in feint operations in northern Kiev to where they can support the next phase of the operation, namely the liberation of the Donbas and the destruction of the main Ukrainian force in the east.

This is classic maneuver warfare. Russia will now hold Ukraine in the north and south while its main forces, reinforced by the northern units, Marines, and forces freed up by the capture of Mariupol, seek to envelope and destroy 60,000 Ukrainian forces in the east.

This is Big Arrow War at its finest, something Americans used to know but forgot in the deserts and mountains of Afghanistan and Iraq. It also explains how 200,000 Russians have been able to defeat 600,000 Ukrainians. Thus ends the primer on maneuver warfare, Russian style.

Consider the logic and intelligence that went into this strategy, and how different it is from the inane Ra Ra narrative from the media.

Phase 1 completed - now Phase 2...

Larry Johnson Agrees:

CIA analyst Larry Johnson suggested that the Russian encirclement of Kyiv over the past three weeks was intended to tie up significant Ukrainian resources so that Russia could conduct large-scale operations in the east and south. In his opinion, the remaining groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass and Kharkiv will become the next object of Russian efforts. Eliminating them is the next task.

Russia continues to maintain large reserves on its western border and the units that carried out the invasion remain intact. At the same time, Russia controls much of the air space in Ukraine and continues to hit Ukrainian bases and fuel depots in the extreme western portion of Ukraine.

Some of the Russian units that were deployed around Kiev are now moving east towards Kharkiv. Russian forces have destroyed the Ukrainian neo-Nazi entity that controlled Mariupol. Russia now controls Mariupol. Let me put this in simple strategic terms–Russia has eliminated any possibility of Ukraine being able to use the Black Sea for ship-borne imports or exports. Ukraine is now cut off in the south.

Russia’s next focus will be on the Ukrainian forces that still exist in the Donbas and Kharkiv. Eliminating them is the likely next objective.

From a Russian supporter in Ukraine:

Ignore Kiev, ignore Kharkov (where I am), ignore the rest of Ukraine — THIS is the important bit, this is where THE battle is taking place: The eastern Ukraine cauldron, around Kramatorsk.

60,000 fighters are caught here. They have no chance of resupply or reinforcements, and they have run out of gasoline. Once they have been neutralized (one way or the other), everything else in Ukraine will fall, and the war will end.

Serious Financial Strategy also:

Putin Statement:

"Let me reiterate. The whole global economy and trade have suffered a major blow as did the trust in the US dollar as the main reserve currency.

The illegitimate freezing of some of the currency reserves of the Bank of Russia marks the end of the reliability of so called first-class assets.

In fact, the US and EU have defaulted on their obligations to Russia.

Now everybody knows that financial reserves can simply be stolen and many countries in the immediate future may begin - I am sure this is what will happen - to convert their paper and digital assets into real reserves of raw materials, land, food, gold and other real assets."

#GotGoldorRubles? Russia Just Broke the Back of the West

I don't think everyone has yet caught the significance of Russia announcing they are putting a floor under the price of gold. But, to be clear, Russia just broke the paper gold suppression scheme. On Friday the Bank of Russia announced: RUB5000 to the ounce at an exchange rate of 100 RUB/USD implies a $1550…

The best article I've seen for understanding the implications of Russia's gold move. https://tomluongo.me/2022/03/28/got-gold-rubles-russia-just-broke-the-back-of-the-west/

❗Mass expulsion of Russian Diplomats:

🇳🇱 The Netherlands expels 17 Russian Diplomats

🇧🇪 Belgium expels 21 Russian Diplomats

🇮🇪 Ireland expels 4 Russian Diplomats

🇨🇿 Czech Republic expels 1 Russian Diplomat

"Only now do we get this mass diplomatic punishment. They made a lot of noise about Ukraine. But they really, really didn't want Russia to go there with the gold."

Tax free trading of gold in Russia:

On March 9, President Putin suspended the 20% VAT tax on precious metals. The move was designed to encourage people to buy gold instead of foreign currencies as the ruble collapsed.

“Currently, households’ demand for buying physical gold in bars has increased, driven, in particular, by the abolition of value-added tax on these operations,” the Central Bank of Russia said in a statement earlier this month.

The Russian Ministry of Finance called gold an “ideal alternative” to the US dollar.

After pausing during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Central Bank of Russia resumed gold purchases in early March before suspending them again a couple of weeks later. The Russian central bank resumed buying gold from local banks on Monday (March 28) at a fixed price of 5,000 roubles ($52) per gram. This is about $16 below market value. In effect, this puts the ruble on a gold standard.

Russia has the fifth-largest gold reserves in the world. Before ending its purchase program at the onset of the COVID pandemic, Russia was the biggest central bank buyer of gold. The Central Bank of Russia bought $4.3 billion worth of the yellow metal between June 2019 and June 2020. And the Russians were buying gold long before that. The Central Bank of Russia bought gold every month from March 2015. According to Bloomberg, “Russia spent more than $40 billion building a war chest of gold over the past five years, making it the world’s biggest buyer.”

Here is the guy who has been the Military Advisor of the President of Ukraine Zelensky.

Back in 2019 he was talking about the situation with Russia/war/NATO etc.

He's very bright and knowledgable and also very very wrong about some crucial things that directly led to the ongoing war.

Perhaps more than anyone else, he is responsible for the ongoing war.

It is a fascinating interview laying out the Zelensky regime mindset and beliefs that led Ukraine to get into war with Russia.

Some more reality:

European Union countries sold hundreds of millions of dollars in arms to Russia over the past decade despite there being laws in place to prevent this from happening.

Ten European Union (EU) member-states have been exposed for selling hundreds of millions of euros worth of military kit to Russia between 2015 and 2020, despite sanctions.

EU member-states including France, Germany, and Italy potentially broke a European embargo on selling arms to Russia, issuing more than 1,000 arms licenses after the ban was imposed on August 1st 2014.

Military equipment sold to Russia ranges from thermal imaging and firearms to tanks and rockets, which were most likely used during Russia’s recent invasion of Ukraine.

While some of the arms contracts may have been legal, due to a loophole that allowed companies to honour their agreements prior to the ban, since 2015 the ten EU members sold hundreds of millions of euros worth of equipment to Russia, with 44 per cent of sales — around €152 ($167.7 million) — originating from France alone, The Telegraph reports.

Germany followed France, supplying 35 per cent of the contracts to Russia — totalling €122 million ($134.6 million) — and while these mainly consisted of ice breaker vessels they also included firearms and armoured vehicles.

Even Time Magazine knew they were White Supremacists:

A documentary from TIME magazine in 2019 revealed the existence of a group called Azov that embodied the neo-Nazi and white supremacist ideology led by Andriy Yevhenovych Biletsky in Ukraine.

Andriy Biletsky, a proud white supremacist, claimed that Ukraine’s national purpose was to rid the country of Jews and other inferior races, Fair Observer reported.

A former Marine Corps intelligence officer who served with the United Nations, Scott Ritter, claimed that the first troops trained by US and British soldiers were the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion.

According to a former U.S. ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul, in his interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” he claimed that there are no Nazis in Ukraine. “He’s [Putin] talking about denazification. There are no Nazis in Ukraine,” McFaul said.

Facts:

Azov is a far-right all-volunteer infantry military unit whose members – estimated at 900 – are ultra-nationalists and accused of harbouring neo-Nazi and white supremacist ideology.

The unit was initially formed as a volunteer group in May 2014 out of the ultra-nationalist Patriot of Ukraine gang, and the neo-Nazi Social National Assembly (SNA) group. Both groups engaged in xenophobic and neo-Nazi ideals and physically assaulted migrants, the Roma community and people opposing their views.

As a battalion, the group fought on the front lines against pro-Russian separatists in Donetsk, the eastern region of Ukraine. Just before launching the invasion, Putin recognized the independence of two rebel-held regions from Donbas. A few months after recapturing the strategic port city of Mariupol from the Russian-backed separatists, the unit was officially integrated into the National Guard of Ukraine on November 12, 2014, and exacted high praise from then-President Petro Poroshenko.

There is overwhelming evidence of both NAZIism and that the MSM and Democrats knew. Super well documented here including a link to the TIME documentary:

Note: Even though they are not in the majority, they occupy positions of power due to their ability to threaten politicians etc. for appointments and promotion. The Chief of Police for example is or was a colonel in the Azov Battalion. Their willingness to use violence has advanced them in the government of Ukraine.

Warfare in America:

When Gaetz entered Hunter Biden's Laptop into the Congressional Record, it means that any of the records from it can be published in book form, available for anyone to read. It can now be published in media, and discussed openly.

That's a step that opens up Hunter Biden's laptop so parts and pieces of it may now start showing up on websites and information begins getting out to the public. It also keeps the information from being hidden by some judge, or kept away from the public.

Fallout from Madison Cawthorn's reveal on the orgies and cocaine:

GOP Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy plans to talk to Rep. Madison Cawthorn about his remarks on DC elites inviting him to orgy parties and doing cocaine.

“I mean the sexual perversion that goes on in Washington. I mean being kind of a young guy in Washington and the average age is probably 60 or 70. And I look at a lot of these people and you know, a lot of them that I, you know, that I looked up to through my life. I’ve always paid attention to politics and then all of the sudden I get invited to like, hey we’re going to have some kind of sexual get-together at one of our homes. You should come by… What did you just ask me to do? And then you realize they’re asking you to come to an orgy.“Or the fact that you know there’s some of the people leading on the movement to try and remove addiction in our country. And of doing cocaine right in front of you,” the freshman Rep. added.

McCarthy sprung into action after other Republicans expressed frustration with Cawthorn’s candor.

“Multiple sources tell me Leader Kevin McCarthy says he plans to talk to freshman Rep. Madison Cawthorn over his orgy remarks” Politico reported. “Told several House Republicans stood up who were upset. They said it wasn’t ok, they don’t believe it, etc”. According to Politico, Rep Steve Womack is getting questions about which members are partaking in orgies after Cawthorn suggested they are happening in DC along with the use of cocaine.

Trump Launches Massive Legal Attack on Hillary and her Minions:

President Trump filed a federal RICO suit in Miami, Florida Thursday against Hillary Clinton and others over the Russia collusion hoax orchestrated by the Clinton campaign in 2016 to undermine Trump’s candidacy and derail his presidency. Attorney Alina Habba announced there are more lawsuits to come.

Here is just a taste of it:

1. In the run-up to the 2016 Presidential Election, Hillary Clinton and her cohorts

orchestrated an unthinkable plot – one that shocks the conscience and is an affront to this nation’s democracy. Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty. The actions taken in furtherance of their scheme—falsifying evidence, deceiving law enforcement, and exploiting access to highly-sensitive data sources – are so outrageous, subversive and incendiary that even the events of Watergate pale in comparison.

The Plaintiff, Donald J. Trump, by and through his undersigned counsel, hereby serves his suit against the Defendants, Hillary R. Clinton, HFACC, Inc., the Democratic National Committee, DNC Services Corporation, Perkins Coie, LLC, Michael Sussmann, Marc Elias, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Charles Halliday Dolan, Jr., Jake Sullivan, John Podesta, Robert E. Mook, Phillipe Reines, Fusion GPS, Glenn Simpson, Peter Fritsch, Nellie Ohr, Bruce Ohr, Orbis Business Intelligence, Ltd., Christopher Steele, Igor Danchenko, Neustar, Inc., Rodney Joffe, James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Kevin Clinesmith, Andrew McCabe, John Does 1 through 10 (said names being fictious and unknown persons), and ABC Corporations 1 through 10
