“Former Vice President Joe Biden’s surviving son, Hunter, hasn’t just dumped his wife for his late brother’s widow, he has squandered his family’s money on hookers, strip clubs and drugs, according to divorce papers obtained by The Post.
The papers, filed last week by Hunter Biden’s soon-to-be ex, Kathleen, offer a sordid peek behind the squeaky-clean image of the popular ex-veep’s family.
“His spending rarely relates to legitimate family expenses, but focuses on his own travel (at times multiple hotel rooms on the same night), gifts for other women, alcohol, strip clubs, or other personal indulgences,” Kathleen Biden says of Hunter in the papers filed in Washington, DC, Superior Court on Feb. 23.
Joe Biden’s older son, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, died of brain cancer in May 2015 at age 46, leaving two children and a wife, Hallie Biden.
Two months later, Kathleen asked Hunter to leave. It later emerged that Hunter had begun dating Hallie, as first reported Wednesday by Page Six.
The filing makes reference to a “large” $80,000 diamond she alleges Hunter was holding onto. When Kathleen tried to get him to put the bauble in a safe-deposit box, he claimed he no longer had it, the filing says.
Hunter allegedly blew through $122,000 in just two months, her papers say.
And Hunter’s name cropped up in 2015 on a leaked list of users of Ashley Madison, the online dating site for married people."
US Vice-President Joe Biden’s son Hunter was discharged from the Navy Reserve in February 2014 after failing a drug test that turned up positive for cocaine just a month after his commissioning, it’s been revealed.
Citing the Navy, the Wall Street Journal reported that Hunter Biden was commissioned as an ensign on May 7, 2013, and assigned to Navy Public Affairs Support Element East in Norfolk, Virginia, a reserve unit. The following month he was given a drug test, which came out positive for cocaine. Based on the results, Biden was discharged in February.
Hunter Biden, 44, the younger son of the vice-president, has issued a statement Thursday saying he was “embarrassed” by his administrative discharge, but he did not say what prompted the Navy Reserve's decision.
"It was the honor of my life to serve in the US Navy, and I deeply regret and am embarrassed that my actions led to my administrative discharge," Biden said in a statement delivered by his lawyer. "I respect the Navy's decision. With the love and support of my family, I'm moving forward."

Andrew Bakaj, founder and managing partner of D.C.-based law firm Compass Rose Legal Group, is the lead counsel working on behalf of the Ukraine whistleblower. Bakaj earmarked a $100 donation on April 26 through ActBlue, a fundraising nonprofit that helps facilitate contributions for Democrats, to Biden’s presidential campaign, the Federal Election Commission’s website shows. Biden appears to be the only recipient of campaign cash from Bakaj this year.
